  • Exceptional Crema and Intuitive Interface
Out of all the items I tested, this espresso machine was the clear standout. As someone who is particular about their morning caffeine, I was impressed by the 20-bar pressure system. It consistently produces a rich, thick crema that rivals what I get at local coffee shops. The touchscreen interface is a modern touch that makes the operation feel very intuitive; I didn't have to spend an hour buried in a manual to pull my first shot. It heats up remarkably fast, which is a lifesaver during the early morning rush. The milk frothing wand has enough power to create a micro-foam that is perfect for latte art, and it’s surprisingly easy to clean afterward. I found the 40oz water tank to be the perfect size—large enough that I’m not refilling it every single day, but small enough to keep the machine's footprint manageable on my counter. The silver and black aesthetic is sleek and fits perfectly with my other kitchen appliances. The vibration during the extraction process is minimal, and the machine stays firmly in place on the countertop. If you are looking to upgrade your home coffee setup without a steep learning curve, this machine offers a professional-grade experience with very little hassle. ... show more

  • More push-button espresso than true dialed-in barista control
TL;DR: Makes espresso-style drinks easily, can pull two at once, but it’s more push-button espresso than true dialed-in barista control. __________ This is one of those machines that looks like serious espresso gear but behaves more like a simplified, entry-level setup. The stainless body and digital display make it feel modern, and the dual-cup brewing is nice if you’re making drinks for two people. From an espresso workflow perspective, this leans convenience over precision. You can adjust volume and temperature, which is helpful, but you’re not getting the kind of fine control over pressure profiling, preinfusion timing, or flow that more advanced home espresso people chase. It’s designed so you press a button and get a result, not endlessly tweak grind, yield, and extraction variables. It works best if you pair it with a capable burr grinder and treat it like a semi-auto that still benefits from proper puck prep. Good distribution, level tamping, and a consistent dose do make a noticeable difference in shot quality, but if you just use pre-ground coffee, expect drinkable but flatter shots with less crema and clarity. The size okay for smaller kitchens. It doesn’t dominate the counter, and the layout is straightforward enough that beginners won’t feel overwhelmed. Overall, I find it is a good starting point for someone who wants to move beyond pod machines into real espresso, but without diving deep into advanced extraction control us coffee geeks chase after. It is good for milk drinks and daily lattes; more limited if you’re chasing café-level shot nuance, but even with all the good things, it is way overpriced for what you really get. It uses a 3 ear 51mm portafilter, comes with a plastic tamping scoop and two pressurized baskets for single and double shots. • Nice home espresso machine to start with
This espresso machine has a nice modern look and works well for making espresso drinks at home. The touchscreen controls are easy to use, and the steam wand is helpful for cappuccinos and lattes. The removable water tank makes refilling easier, and overall it feels like a good option for home coffee use. I love the color of it as it coordinates with other appliances and the size is ideal as it doesn’t take up too much space. ... show more

  • Great Easy To Use Beginner Espresso Machine With Nice Features
I am a huge espresso drinker. I don’t really drink regular coffee, but I do need espresso in the mornings. I already have a couple machines, but they are pod based, so I’ve been wanting to try something that uses grounds instead. I’m always looking to try new espresso machines, so when I came across this one, I figured I would give it a try, and I’m really glad that I did. Right away, this feels like a really nice machine for the price. It’s good quality and well made. It is made from plastic, but it still feels durable and not cheap or flimsy. It has a sleek, modern look with the touchscreen display, and the screen itself is bright and really easy to use. The controls are simple. It has a power button, single shot, double shot, and steam button, along with a display that shows the time left while brewing. One thing that is a little annoying is that you have to press and hold the buttons for them to work instead of just pressing once, and sometimes it doesn’t respond right away. Not a deal breaker, just something I noticed. The performance is honestly really impressive. You get a strong, flavorful shot with a nice crema, and you can really taste the flavor of the beans compared to pod machines. It definitely feels like a step up. I also really like that you can adjust the shot size. The single shot can be adjusted from 20ml to 60ml, with 30ml as the default, and the double shot goes up to 120ml, which is a really nice feature. The steam wand works really well too, and I like that you can adjust how much steam you want. It also twists out when in use and can be tucked back in so it’s not sticking out all the time, which is a nice design detail. The machine comes with both a single and double shot portafilter, along with a scoop that has a tamper on the other end, which is convenient. One thing I will say is the portafilter is a little difficult to lock and unlock at first. The water tank is a good size, so you don’t have to refill it constantly. You can remove it completely or just flip open the lid to fill it, which is really convenient. You can also brew two cups at once, which is great when making drinks for more than just yourself. One thing I did notice when first using it is that some water came out even when the tank was empty, and it had a really strong, almost rotten egg type smell. That was a little odd, but it went away after running it a couple times. It takes a little over a minute to preheat, which isn’t bad, and I like that the top plate starts heating right away so you can warm your cup while it’s getting ready. What I like most is that it gives you more control compared to pod machines while still being easy to use. It’s a great beginner espresso machine that doesn’t take up a lot of space but still gives you really good results. At the current price of $84.99 (as of 3/31/26), I think this is a good value and in line with what I would expect to pay for something like this. Overall, this is a really solid, easy to use espresso machine that makes great drinks and is a nice upgrade from pod machines. It’s compact, functional, and works really well. I’ve been using it regularly and it’s been working out great. I really like this and would still highly recommend it. ... show more
