The reel functionality is also easy to use and to teach kids - my son is 2.5 and has been able to figure it out! ✅ Durable & Well-Made – Despite being a kid’s rod, it’s sturdy enough to handle real fishing trips. ✅ Lightweight & Portable – The compact size makes it easy to carry on family fishing outings. Great beginner pole for toddlers and kids. Little one caught their first bluegill with it. Functions exactly as it should. Casting and reeling are both smooth. Awesome price point. We had a Moana reel that gave out after 13 years and wanted a similar replacement. This one has line that is far too light for little ones to handle. Each time my 3yr old cast the reel creates extreme extra line unlike the Moana. I compared to the Moana and the filament line is much finer. Too fine in fact.
