This casting rod is super easy to use, and it’s great fun for playing with cats and kittens. I recommend wrapping the fish sinker with fabric or padding because it’s too hard for a cat to hold in its mouth. Take care to not cast at the cat! I know this rod is meant for small children, and I think it would be great fun for them, especially if they have loved ones that fish. How exciting to have their own rod and go fishing with parents or grandparents! -easy to use -lightweight -perfect size for a small child -great value for the money, especially if purchased via daily deal Only drawbacks I can see: -cannot restring the line reel; though I haven’t tried -does not float -probably not strong enough to reel in a big fish. -the sinker fish enclosed is really hard.
