First time I ordered this it arrived missing the top part. The second time I ordered it the top part had fiberglass broken off the bottom and could not be attached.

This rig very closely resembles one I had as a kid, also a Shakespeare, with cork grips. I'm returning to freshwater fishing after an hiatus of about 35 years, so I'm beginning again, as a hobby in retirement not avidly pursuing a catch. The rig appears to be sturdy and travels well. I needed to change the line to one more sturdy and visible.
