These shades are so nice. They're thick material and are very easy to install. They seem to be very durable. They are thick enough to keep any light or and no one can see in. They pull down and retract nicely and you can adjust how slow or fast they retract. They roll back up and hide perfectly behind the top of the curtain, our of sight. These blackout shades are great! I have them or blackout curtains in all of my windows now. True blackout and easy to install. My husband sleeps in the living room because of his illnesses. I wanted him to get better and longer sleep without the sun awakening him too early. He is very happy in the darkness and cool living room now.

Genius item right here, perfect in design and so easy to install. I've got two hard to reach 2nd floor west facing windows that were boiling my house on sunny days. Very nice quality and works smoothly. The problem I'm running into is the gap on either side. I purchased 2 18" shades to cover 15" wide French door windows as they face an intrusive and annoying street lamp. But, because of the design where the shade rolls off the front of the reel, it stands off the window by a couple inches. There is an enormous gap around the sides. Now, I've installed it "backwards" so it rolls off the back of the reel and pulls down closer to the window and while improved, it still gaps by about an inch. Uncertain if I will keep them. I had such high hopes! First photo - installed per directions, 2nd - put up backwards. Update: I really like the shades so I put up some window film that diffuses what light does come in. Film also keeps the dogs from barking at squirrels. I think French doors are really hard to put proper shades on.

Very Easy to install, I was able to do it myself and I'm not the best with that type of thing normally! Blocks light and heat great. And it is easy open and close. Not to mention it looks amazing compared to standard blinds. They fit my double window perfect are very durable. And the best part are very affordable for the quality.
