The media could not be loaded. Looking at this seller's pictures compared to the competitors pictures their actually the same product. This bed looks to have wider side panels and the head board be high enough to function as a headboard. It's not! It's the narrow side boards and I have a 15" mattress, which with pillows, the light is pointless. I was really hoping this seller had the product that was in the pictures they are using. Besides that. It seems pretty sturdy, but really low to the ground. ... show more

Frame is a low to the floor model. All tools for assembly are included - but if you have your own power tools - that is even better. Ships in one box (Heavy). Assembly instruction are not that great. If you are mechanically challenged - you might want to pass on assembling it yourself. There are some videos on YouTube of similar models being assembled. I would say the quality of the item is what you might find at Walmart or Ikea. It is not super high quality, nor is it cheap. I would say average quality. I had only one issue: One embedded E-Z LOK nut was installed to far down and I had to get a longer screw than was specified. I am using a high quality queen size mattress (8 to 10 inches in height) and it fits fine. I am 6'4 and 265 pounds and I have no issues/problems with using the bed.
