I have had the same pair of New Balance shoes now for close to 3yrs! I went to buy a new pair about 2yrs ago and Covid had just started. I couldn’t find them anywhere locally!! And then money was a problem! New Balance are the only shoes I’ve ever had that fit my feet like I have always hoped a shoe would! These are no different! They fit perfectly and when I placed my order I went onto the New Balance site and printed a foot sizing chart before ordering these! They are an exact match and they are the exact same size as my old pair! I went ahead and ordered two pair when I placed this order from Amazon and I would more than gladly do it all over again!! I have problems with a high arch in my feet and New Balance feel great!! If you have any questions about getting the right size, go onto the New Balance site and print a sizing chart with your printer set on 100% size instead of fit to page and set to landscape. Then put the lines together and staple the two pages together at the line up lines. You should not have a problem with getting the right size then! And they are much cheaper to buy from Amazon!!!

This is my third pair of these particular New Balance shoes, i.e., the brown suede cross trainer. I like the look because they can be worn to casual restaurants but don't really "look" like sneakers as much. They provide decent support and comfort. With this current pair, they need a little breaking in to soften the suede, unlike the last two pair. Haven't done much walking in them since it's winter and there's a lot of snow on sidewalks, but my last pair were very comfortable for walking. I expect the same for these. HOWEVER, they are not "serious" work out shoes so don't buy them for that purpose.

I've been wearing New Balance for decades, and have run this line of cross trainer through the gauntlet from using a pair as a dress casual/gym shoe until eventually turning into good yardwork footwear. Having wide feet, it's nice to have options. My original order was too wide but Amazon made the process simple for returning at no charge and receiving the correct fit today. I am very happy with all aspects of my purchase.

I have, for the most part, bought Nike AirMax shoes. I bought my first pair of NB 608 v5 casual cross trainers because, well, because they were inexpensive compared to the Nike shoes. Nowadays, I mainly walk instead of run. My dog and I will go on walks that average six miles a day. Sometimes, we will walk ten miles in a day. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. In fact, in true fashion of giving shoes a chance to rest between wearing them, I bought a second pair. They are not stylish. They are Dad shoes. I would call them “Grandpa” shoes. On occasion, I have run with them. But bring a grandpa, not for a great distance. However, when running they felt fine too.

I always wore a size 10 my whole life but shoes seem to be getting smaller so I ordered a size 11. Perfect fit. And I got it in wide. They seem great right out of the box. Time will tell. I usually get black but I thought I'd try grey for a change. They look good.

I have been wearing this sneaker style for years. It is the only one I could find that was wide enough to fit properly. On the downside, the inside of the heal wears prematurely but this has been the situation since I've been wearing New Balance. I find the only way to address the issue is by inserting heal protectors right from the start. Still, it is a flawed design as I'm sure the problem isn't unique to me. But they fit, so I stay with them.

The size chart says these are 28mm long. That's incorrect, according to my measurement and that of another buyer who measured his own size 11s and answered my posted question. He measured 32mm from heel to toe, same as what I measured when my pair arrived. I don't know why the size chart says 28mm. 4 mm is a big discrepancy. These 608V5s (or whatever the whole model number is) replace a pair of 608V2s (size 10) that I bought 10 yrs ago. Those measure 32mm long. So apparently a size 10 from 10 yrs ago is the same length as a current size 11. They are different model # shoes, but still, why such a size difference? Thanks to the other buyer, I ordered a size larger than I otherwise would have, saving me the trouble of returning a pair of size 10s that, in my view, would not have been true to size compared to past purchases.
