Solid bed. Many have said they didn't get the manual so I have included it. Also closeups of connections to ensure clarity. Took about 90 minutes to assemble. Not hard. Feet have to be drilled in but I did not. It won't be moving and I have a tempurpedic so I placed the feet where I wanted before laying the mattress. No drilling needed if you don't plan to move it. Don't use the screwdriver that came with it as a fatter Phillips will do a better job. This one can't stay in the groove when tightening. Have a 10" mattress and still have gap between bed and headboard. Will not support upper back only lower back when leading against it to watch TV. Don't expect that support. Update: The slats are VERY unsupportive and curve under my weight. I'm 160 lbs and the bed is a supreme tempurpedic. Trying to return it. Its higher in the middle than the sides. I had to see a chiropractor since my back now hurts. I'm not heavy nor is my wife. Everything including the mattress is well under 500 lb which is stated as supported I'm in pain. ... show more
