I’ve had this bed since May 2024 and it’s my favorite bed I’ve ever owned. Assembly took about 2 hours. The instructions were clear and all hardware was packaged and labeled clearly. This thing took my boyfriend and I two hours to put together. It was a bit of a pain to assemble but once it was together I became thrilled! The bed is wonderful. The directions aren't terribly hard to follow, just getting the right angle on some of the allen wrenches was obnoxious. I would advise you to add a box spring, as it sits very low to the ground with just a mattress (as you can see). The drawers are spacious and roll easily out from under the bed! I also love that they "latch" into place when not in use so they don't roll out on you unexpectedly😂 It looks so expensive and classy. I still can't believe it's being sold for so cheap! 9/10, I absolutely recommend it! ... show more

Everything about this purchase has been better than expected! The quality is so much higher than you’d expect for a DIY piece of furniture at this price point. Plus, right off the bat, it came four days earlier than expected. Then, it was the most thoughtfully packaged build-it-yourself item I have EVER seen (and I’ve seen a lotttt over the years!!) It was incredibly easy to put together by myself while my kids were gone for the evening. It took about 2 hours total. Most pieces were clearly marked -and the ones that weren’t, were still easy to identify. Although just built and, thus, hasn’t yet stood the test of time, it seems very sturdy. Most of the construction is a metal frame and the multiple slats of the “platform” portion have plastic end caps that actually click into the metal frame. (No incessant banging 1,000 finishing nails like with most bed construction - yay!!) I’ve had to move it a couple times around the room while I’m still painting/wallpapering, but it’s built so well that it’s been no trouble. Because I already had it, I did use the 6” box spring I had for this bedroom set, although, it wouldn’t be needed for this kind of bed frame (mattress alone would suffice - but I wanted the rich look of a loftier bed.) I paired it with a 10” mattress and it looks amazing. The drawers of this have a locking mechanism - simply lift drawer up to “latch” a pin into an opening in the frame. They’re surprisingly sturdy despite being so easy to move. Since the drawers are like wire baskets of sorts, I did purchase a shallow plastic bin at the dollar store for tinier items (jewelry, hair/nail products) so that the wouldn’t fall through. The storage is plentiful! This room had had 3 under-bed storage bins and I was able to fit all of that into just 2 of the drawers - with 2 more to spare!! I purchased this for my daughter’s room… she’s a collage student who needs lots of storage when she’s home for all of her dorm items. This bed meets all our needs (needs from a bed, that is - lol!), was incredibly priced for its high quality, and is gorgeous. All in all, it’s WAY surpassed all my expectations!! Assembly was not difficult, it does take some time but I did it by myself in about 1.5 hours. It is an heavy box, but once in place it was easy to work with. Instructions and labeling on each part were clear in each step. The extra hardware was appreciated, tools included made the process painless and everything came together perfectly. The drawers slide effortlessly underneath the bed making good use of the space. The fabric is very nice looking with a durable feel all around. We added a memory foam mattress and it’s perfect! The media could not be loaded. I put this together myself in about 2 hours, definitely would have been easier with two people but it’s doable with just one. It comes with all the tools and hardware and it’s pretty simple to put together. The instructions have no written steps it’s all just pictures and a majority of the pieces are not labeled so just have to figure out what goes where by the pictures. Once put together it seems pretty sturdy. You won’t need a box spring with this frame just put the mattress right on top. The storage drawers slide easily on my carpet and my only problem with them is that sometimes it’s a struggle to pop them open, they sort of latch into the frame by a bolt and if not lined up properly the bolt won’t come out.
