If I tell you this bed was easy to put together ! It took me and my daughter less than a hour to put it together - instructions were clear , simple and EASY and to follow. Finally- something you purchased , and you don’t have to be a rock scientist to figure it out! All material were packaged and labeled correctly. My first complaint is the packaging of this item coming all of the way from China. As with many others, mine came damaged where the leg of the footboard was crushed in. Being that it is a heavy item, you know that it will take a lot of abuse in shipping. As others indicated, the instructions are not clear, and a lot of parts are missing identifiers. Once you lay it out, it will make sense, though. Recommend finger tightening the first two slats from headboard to foot board. Stand back and look at it. You should have cuts on the inside and holes on the top. As careful as I was, I missed this on one side. Assembly takes about an hour and you will have a mess to clean up as the packing material and foam will be all over the place. Quality is good for China product, and as good as anything you would find at Ashley, and delivery is fast as most furniture is ordered at the time you buy it. The only delay I had was FedEx fault which always seems to happen when you have a heavy item, it makes it on the delivery truck, but ends up back at the facility to be delivered the next day. Not sure why that happens, but happened more than twice to me in the last few years. My only other complaint is size. We had to force an expensive Sealy Pillow top between the headboard and the frame. It could be 1/2" longer, in my opinion to fit a larger mattress. Small complaints aside, it is a really good value and exceeded expectations after reading prior reviews and a solid buy for guest room or a nice looking bed frame on a budget that is sturdy and looks great.

This is the best bed frame you can get at this price point. It has good build quality and provides enough space between the floor and the bottom of the bed for easy cleaning or storage. It doesn’t make any noise — just make sure to tighten the screws properly. It also includes all the tools you’ll need for assembly. Overall, it’s a heavy-duty, reliable bed frame. Highly recommended!

Was pleasantly surprised by these beds. Installation was very easy and instructions were decent. Took me about 20 mins to put it together. Everything was well marked. Seems Saturday enough for a bed in a spare room and well worth the cheap price.

I am a pretty small dude, 5' & a little over 150 lbs, but I wanted a super sturdy bed bc my boyfriend is a big guy. This bed is exactly what I needed, without breaking the bank, & goes with my style perfectly. Assembly instructions were fairly straightforward, & I was impressed that the bolts were sent in an organized blister pack. I tripped up once or twice, but I also enjoy building stuff, so it wasn't much issue. I mostly used my power drill, but was surprised that a screwdriver was included along with the hex keys you normally see with diy furniture. All in all, putting this bed together took about 2 hours (or more accurately, 2 episodes of Stuff to Blow Your Mind) including having to double back on mistakes. Time well spent imo because as I was going, I appreciated how well designed it is, even down to the padded bars that hold the slats in place. I've been sleeping on it for about a week now & can attest to it being solid. Zero squeaks & zero possibly random slat shift like with ikea beds. A cross country move had me sleeping on an old soft memory foam mattress, & one thing I didn't expect was that the entire frame, like including headboard & footboard, would be so solid that it makes the mattress feel a little more supportive. One of the things I liked most about the bed based on the listing was the under bed clearance. I was thinking storage, but I really appreciated it when dropped my phone & was able to simply crawl under there & get it, as opposed to having to MacGyver a solution. Also, yeah the clearance for storage is great, I have ikea bags & my carry on suitcase under there, which wouldn't fit under most beds. The only thing I'm not really thrilled about is that if one likes to prop their pillows on the headboard, they won't be able to see much of it when the bed is made. All told, that's been the only downside among many benefits.
