I bought the SHA CERLIN 14" Full Size Metal Platform Bed Frame for our guest room, and it has been a great choice. Love, love, love it. So pretty. I put this together myself and I'm 63, it took me all day and my back hurts today but I did it 👏👏. I would say it's easy to do and if you have put things together via diagrams before you can put this together. The instructions are good. One of the spindals was noticeably scratched so I just made sure it was on the side facing the wall. Other than that nothing else was scratched. It was packaged very well. The metal is nice and heavy so when tightening the screws the metal didn't flex at all ( and I'm not old weak just have trouble getting up and down and sometimes getting around) so I was able to tightened pretty good actually my son came in and said "mom I don't think you can get it any tighter" lol. All the screws were in a labeled blister pack and they even sent an extra one for each size that's labeled extra, it also came with the alen wrench that held up throughout. All the pieces fit together nicely and the screws that went on the rounded post the washers were bent to fit that. The bed frame is stable and durable even when I had to move to the position I wanted it in the bed didn't flex at all. I didn't hear any squeaking at all sleeping on it last night I also didn't notice the mattress sliding. I will say this that the mattress fits tight between the headboard and foot board and I couldn't get my bedspread between the mattress and footboard. I would say for the 106.00 paid it's well worth it. If you have doubts on the construction you won't have anything to worry about, it well made. ... show more

I purchased this bed for my daughter’s room and it is beautiful, it did take my fiancee and I to put it together but it was easy once we got all of the parts in order! The alignment for each part was spot on which made installation effortless. The height of the frame is perfect, it did come with its own tools so that was amazing, the labeling on each part was super helpful, this frame is super lightweight but amazing sturdy, my baby loves it and so do I! ... show more

SO pleased with my beautiful new platform bed for one of my guest rooms in my "retro" house/childhood home in New Orleans. This was super easy to put together--you have to pay attention and read the directions. NONE of my pieces were missing, scratched, or misaligned. I believe the people saying the parts were misaligned or didn't fit were not reading the directions carefully. When I got frustrated with why one bolt wasn't long enough, I looked back at the directions and realized I had picked up the wrong one. Just pay attention and everything will fit just right. Nobody has slept on it yet so I can't speak about whether it squeaks or not but it seems VERY sturdy and well made. One review complained about the blobbiness of the sautered spots of the decorative bars in the headboard and footboard. For this price, you need to realize it's not going to be the same quality you'd get for $5,000. Recommendations: 1. the two side center feet of the bed will DEFINITELY break or badly bruise some toes at some point. Here's what I did: Get a long foam pipe insulation tube (it's like a gray or black pool noodle that's sliced lengthwise) and cut that into pieces the height of the top of the leg to your floor. Wrap around the leg so the open part is toward the inside of the bed. Now when you inevitably bump your foot, you'll hit foam. Problem solved. If you get a color that matches the platform, nobody will ever know. Or get a bed skirt to hide it. 2. I knew that the mattress would slide off the sides, so I bought a 6-pack set of these on Amazon: TUPSKY Non Slip Mattress Gaskets and again, problem #2 is solved for very little expense, and it's nice looking. I absolutely LOVE the height--it's not low to the ground so it looks normal AND you can store stuff underneath, and I can reach the vacuum all the way under it to the center of my queen bed. Just received the bed and put together by myself easily in less than an hour. It feels sturdy and well-made (for the price). It’s lightweight enough to navigate building alone, but the box it’s delivered in is VERY heavy. It’s well packaged and protected. It comes with an Allen wrench - the only tool you’ll need to put it together. Although scissors are helpful when taking everything out of the box initially. The ball decor on the head and footboard were a little dented but no one can see it unless you are super close to it. The bed looks just like the photo. It’s true to size, as it says. We got a 12” thick queen mattress off Amazon to put on top, and there’s been no sliding around or off the bed. It doesn’t come with drawers or under bed storage, but I used some drawers with castors from IKEA and it fits great underneath for extra storage. We also put it on bed risers (also from amazon) and used a longer bed skirt. I love it so far! It probably won’t be super long-lasting but the price point was perfect, it looks nice, it feels sturdy, and it was easy to put together. Highly recommend! ... show more

Love the bed! Easy to out together, simple instructions to follow! Only took about 35 mins. Although, so far, I love the bed, it arrived pretty beat up as far as packaging is concerned.

Fairly straightforward to put together. I think it looks nice, but it is a little low to the ground and we had to get rid of our boxspring when we got this. We tried it with the box spring on it, but it made it too tall and then you couldn't really see the headboard anymore, which defeats the whole point. I will say I don't particularly love all the noise it makes when we get out of bed. I'm not a small girl by any means but our old basic frame and box spring you weren't getting all this extra noise. Still, I do like the look of it and I think overall it's worth it. Just know, even though it's stable, you're going to hear creaking when you roll or get up. ... show more

Came in earlier than expected and all of the pieces and parts were included and no dents . Easy directions and does not squeak . Very pretty and sturdy but it does sit a little low to the floor but nothing a box spring can’t fix . Took a total of an hour to put together by myself .
