It is durable we mainly have our son use this bed but we did have guest come over and total weight on it at that time was 500-600 lbs on it and no issues with the guests. I was nervous about buying a $200 bed from a seller that was marked "caution" by Fakespot but I'm incredibly impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this bed. It came double boxed, well packaged, with extra screws. It took me about 1.5 hours to put together by myself. The instructions were pretty good. I did put one bar on wrong but was able to easily fix later. I'm not looking forward to taking it apart when I move but it shouldn't be too bad to reassembe as the foot and head boards can stay in one piece. Buy with confidence. ... show more

This bed took me an hour and 30-45 mins to put together by myself… I had one minor oopsie that was thankfully easy to resolve without me having to take the entire bed apart but after I got past that the bed frame turned out exactly as shown! I love it, I have no issues or complaints… no squeaks, no damaged equipment & it’s pretty sturdy! Also FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS, I seen a lot of bad reviews saying certain parts didn’t fit & that’s because they simply didn’t follow the instructions, also don’t screw the headboard screws in too tight that it could damage the the wood. ... show more

This is the best fad I have had in my lifetime-I am just starting out though on my own. It seems to be solid and a well built bed however, it did take a bit to put together. It is a nice product for a young officer in the Air Force, just out of the university and training! I’m sure it will last until I find my significant other. Then if we don’t use it for our guest, or our kids we can resell it. Shipping took a bit longer than I had a hoped for. ... show more

    • End of bed bolts come loose after scooching on the bed/moving the bed over time
Love how sturdy the frame is and the look is amazing and decently easy for me to build. Only issue I have is that I have to sooch out of bed since my side is against a wall and have to exit that way if my partner is sleeping in the bed with me and because I do it often the screws become loose and I have to re screw them in at least twice a month if at most. I've shopped at Wayfair, Living Spaces, and Ashley Furniture and every time I've bought a bedframe, I've been disappointed in the wood quality and overall stability of the frame. This time around, I decided to try metal and I was super satisfied with what I got. This product is a great buy if you're trying to spend less than $500 on a bedframe. Very high quality (and interesting) engineering - especially for the price. I also have the equivalent Zinus frame and found the Sha Cerlin to be a bit higher quality and less expensive. There are a few extra steps with this Sha Cerlin but it is because it is sturdier. Very easy to assemble - about 20 minutes. They really thought of everything as they provide a spare bolt in ever size and give warnings at times to make sure you are paying attention to the fit. ... show more
