I loved the look of this coat but thought it would be larger for a 2X. There is plenty of room in the hips since it is a "swing" coat. I think it's stylish and the material is gorgeous! Unfortunately for me, it was too snug around the chest in order for me to keep it. I'm not even that chesty, so when you see how this is cut in the picture - even for smaller gals, note that the chest area is not as ample as normal coats.

Though cute I had to return the jacket because on day one the sleeve came completely apart from underarm inseam all the way to the inside wrist. The night the jacket arrived I tried it on and my husband said the seam looked awful big. I left it alone thinking "it's probably fine". Nope...sleeve completely gone. The jacket fit just okay. The sleeve length was decent, the chest and neck were a bit tighter than they should have been. Won't buy again because it's not worth the risk of receiving another poorly sewn jacket.

The buttons are only one inch in diameter. The picture has about double the size compared to the length of the models thumb. Larger buttons are easier for arthritic fingers to work and make the coat more stylish and slimming. I would also characterize the wool as light weight.

Pretty and lightweight. I used the size chart and actually ordered a size larger than what was called for since I like my coats a little larger to accommodate sweaters under them but it was still a little small.

This was a terrible piece and I knew when I got it out the bag I'd be disgusted... I opened it and didn't realize from the pics the sleeves were sweater material. They ripped in three days. The fit was shot, y'all tried it! I'm over it!
