The smell is no bed of roses right out of the container, but it doesn't last long after applying it to the hair. I got this to style my short hair in the Midwest humid summer weather, and it works really nice! It keeps the volume and adds plenty of waves and texture. I used to use Pantene hair wax, until they stopped making it. I've tried may different waxes, but this is the best! Hope they don't discontinue it.

On a whim after seeing a YouTube video where someone used a similar product (a bit more expensive) , I decided to try this. My hair is very short so there is not a ton I can do to add style but this works well. Following other reviews I used just a little bit and it gave me instant texture.
