It states to use small amount, however when you hit the pump it shoots out a lot. Have wasted most of it. If you use too much in your hair, it’s too heavy, hair lays flat. Still not great when a little is used. Doesn’t live up to the name or hype.

I've used dozens & dozens of hair products, & hands down, for volume control, speed of drying, & even the softest my hair has ever been, this one does it all! This is by far my new go-to when I want to add some volume to my very flat hair that totally lacks style.! I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants to achieve the things I've mentioned with their hair. Oh.. & it's definitely worth every penny! I was hesitant to buy this product because of the price. I couldn't find it locally though. You only need a small small amount because it foams up. And it does an awesome job, I have to admit, of giving me volume at least for the 1st day, for my hair. I don't like the way it dispenses though because you get too much so just use a very tiny amount to start or you will end up wasting it by throwing it down the sink. ... show more

    • Fine hair to volumized hair! But when it says "dispense small", it means SMALL
So, the reviews were definitely right about this bottle dispensing a little TOO much with one press. Anyways, not a big deal to me -- I experimented with the excessive amount and did not want to put any to waste. I have naturally fine, straight, silky hair and it was definitely volumized after using my blowdryer brush. I will say though, I had to spray in a little leave-in conditioner as well, because this product did not leave my hair feeling soft. (Or maybe that's just because I ended up putting on more than I should have in the first place). In my experience, this works better than the blow-dry gel to volumize hair. 4/5 stars, may recommend to a friend with fine hair and, well.. a gentler hand to push the dispense ... show more

Overall this is a good product and does hold add volume to fine, straight hair - but WOW, I can't handle the scent. Way too strong and doesn't ever stop.
