This little machine looks and feels like a toy - it is SO cute! But it sews really nicely! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and the stitch quality is surprisingly good. You can run it on batteries or plug it in, and it works with or without a foot pedal. It threads just like a regular machine with a drop-in bobbin, and the built-in thread cutter is a nice touch. I’ve used it to sew some book pouches, scrunchies and a zip pouch, and it happily sewed through 4 layers of cotton fabric plus interfacing. I’ve only had it a week so I’m not sure how it’ll hold up over time, but as a backup machine, for caravanning, or something to bring to classes, it’s perfect. This is a fantastic little machine. Nice and small, easy to take to sew along days. Reasonable noise level when stitching. This is NOT a fast machine! Definitely for slow-stitching days. I have used it a lot and have had very few problems with it, very durable and reliable. It is a little difficult to thread but the included threader makes it a little easier and once I got the hang of it I haven't had any problems. The one I received was defective. Or I could not get the thread adjusted properly and I tried everything it continuously stopped the motor with too much tension. It’s a cute machine. Very light and plastic. Seems kind of like a kids toy. I didn’t order a replacement, so I cannot say if another would work better. First, you'll be surprised at its light the first time you take it out of the box. Next, you'll be pleased with its stylish design. This sewing machine's lightweight and sleek design means it can fit neatly in the corner of a bookshelf or writing table. This sewing machine won't get in the way of your decor, so you can start sewing whenever you want. As for ease of use, it is very easy to set up and use. Although it is simple, it has straight stitches, zigzag stitches, and buttonholes, so I think it is of sufficient quality for beginners. I am an intermediate user, so I use this one for simple work as my second sawing machine. This sewing machine is quiet and doesn't vibrate much when sewing. This machine is incredibly lightweight, small, and portable. It sews well and has a thread cutter! It also threads the same way as a regular sewing machine would and works both with or without a foot pedal and can also be used with just batteries if there's not outlet around. It can sew through multiple layers of fabric but I wouldn't use it for super thick things like waistbands/sweatpants. It's very easy to set up and it comes with an instruction booklet with pictures. There are a few grammatical errors in the instructions because the instructions are translated from Japanese but they're very easy to understand still! Overall, I think this machine is good if you're looking for something portable to use for small crafts/projects but I don't think it can replace a regular sewing maching because of how small it is especially at the high price point. It's main advantage really is it's portability, so it's best as a backup machine or one used specifically for traveling. ... show more

This little sewing machine is not only CUTE, but it also feels like a solid sewing machine. My first time using it, set up was simple, very easy to use, and the stitches look great! The machine includes: 2 bobbins, buttonhole maker, piece to keep spool of thread on, extra needle, needle threader (I think this is the only downside for me, no auto threader), and tool for repairs. It also ships with a block that fits under the foot to keep the sewing area safe during travel. You have two sewing options, use batteries or plug in. Also comes with foot pedal or sewing with hand button. I will be making a bag to carry mine for travel. Excellent backup sewing machine option, first sewing machine option, child sewing machine, travel sewing machine. I’m an experienced sewist and I bought this for travel sewing. The foot pedal is broken after my first trip. This machine is not suitable for beginners; the back stitch is difficult and there are no seam measurements. I have had to troubleshoot it and disassemble which works only because I am experienced with sewing machines. Pros: Incredibly light (less than 6lbs) Fits in carry on Carrying case (sold separately) is pretty nice No issues with TSA few skipped stitches Stitch quality is decent Battery power Very nice looking Tension is adequate Due to the simplicity of the machine, it’s reliable for the size Bobbin winder works Cons: No seam measurements Despite what it says, it struggles with thicker fabrics. Not a huge issue After continuous sewing the machine often gets stuck and needs disassembly Back stitch difficult due to needing to be held down with some force; can’t really be done while holding fabric Foot Pedal connector snapped off during the first trip (seems to be a common issue, they are sold out of extras on their website) This is a good portable machine and a great opportunity to sew in weird places. The portability is the ONLY reason to get this machine, as there are better, more reliable machines out there for the price point. I’m not happy I spent 200 dollars for what is now a useless machine to me without the pedal. I had it for 2 weeks. Would be 4 stars if the pedal hadn’t broken. I attempted to contact the company asking for guidance and I received no response which is disappointing. I chose this machine because it was an established company. If you buy this machine, be mindful of the connecting port of the pedal! You can operate the machine with a lever on the machine but this is not how I like to sew. Don’t buy this unless you need something very light as they seem to have cut corners with certain parts. Company offers no support. ... show more
