Although it is simple, it has straight stitches, zigzag stitches, and buttonholes, so I think it is of sufficient quality for beginners. I am an intermediate user, so I use this one for simple work as my second sawing machine. This sewing machine is quiet and doesn't vibrate much when sewing. If I had to point out a negative point, it would be easier to work with if the free arm was a little larger. Overall, I'm satisfied that I made a good purchase.

This sewing machine is lightweight. It's really light I was attracted to the statement that it weighs just over 4.6lb, which is about half the weight of a typical sewing machine. That was a good point ・It's so light! I think the biggest reason I don't like sewing machines is the weight (I agree with you).It's easy to carry. ・It doesn't seem to have much power (the feeling of sewing or the sound of the motor?), but it seems to be able to sew small items without difficulty. --The instructions are quite detailed. Even I, a beginner, was able to understand it. There seems to be a video, so even people who can't read the instructions should be fine. ・The needle cover (and smartphone stand) is doing a surprisingly good job. It's safe. I think this product is perfect for those who want to make small items for small children, who want to take them out quickly and put them away quickly, even though they are a bit heavy.

This sewing machine is billed as a sewing machine for beginners. Sewing is a passion of mine, and I have made shirts and many other items over the years. I was looking forward to this machine because it seems lightweight and portable and has a nice esthetic look. After opening the box, this sewing machine indeed looks very nice. It is plastic, as one would expect from this level of machine, but still looks very nice. This is a mechanical sewing machine, and only includes the basics when it comes to stitches. It basically does straight stitch, blind stitch, buttonhole, and zigzag stitch. Each of those types has a different setting for each stitch length; for example, the straight stitch has four different settings on the pattern dial where each one corresponds to a straight stitch of a different length. You only have two speeds, “slow” and “fast.” You can access this using a slider switch or using the foot petal. Some basic accessories are included, such as one needle, buttonhole foot, bobbins, etc. The phone holder also serves to protect the needle when the machine is packed away. I also appreciated that the included manual was printed on good quality, thick paper. Once I got past the nice visual design of the machine, there were many things that I did not like. I found the threading to be more difficult than it should be. Again, I have sewn on many machines and know how to thread. This one just felt more difficult than it should. I had a very hard time finding the proper tension on this machine. I spent an hour with many tests and never found a stitch that looked good. This may have been due to improper threading, but the illustrations in the manual were a bit vague on that. The buttonhole feature is manual. You have 3 different settings, including the left side, right side, and one for top/bottom. I was not able to get a decent looking buttonhole. I have sewn many shirts that included buttonholes on low end machines. I was not able to get this one to look good with this machine. I would also add that the built-in light was not very bright, so you will need to have an additional light source. So, would I recommend this machine for beginners? If you like the design and your storage space is limited, then this might be a good machine for you for basic sewing. However, you should expect to spend a lot of time adjusting the machine to get the output you want. I personally would not use this for garment construction and considering that you can get an entry level machine from a big-name brand for about the same cost, I would recommend researching those first.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great little beginner friendly or travel machine. It only took me 15 minutes from opening the box to get sewing. The instructions are very easy to understand. One revision to my video, it comes with a *button* foot, not a zipper foot!!! I plan to use this while my big machine is in the shop, and also to take to sewing bees, retreats and travel! It’s a great value, and functions beautifully. This should have no trouble doing the type of piecing for quilting I’m used to.

I really like this sewing machine. By reading the reviews and the introduction, this machine is great. However, the order was delayed, and the package was lost. There is no way to give my review and my 2 cents of opinion.
