As with all and any guitar, it does need getting "setup", for me, no problem since I am currently doing this as a hobby. I was impressed with the packaging, smaller than I expected, But, it is a good travel kit and a good beginner startup. I would buy this again.

Iv had this guitar for a week and my opinion is .it has no gloss to it like a normal guitar. I tap on the body n it sounds like hollow plastic. I figure it would be a little more high class.the amp I would never touch because it is a cheap little thing. I bought a fender mustang gtx 100 and paid good money on it so I'll have to buy a higher class guitar now.dont waste you money you can get this same guitar under a 100 n skip the cheap amp. ... show more
