I am a 74-year-old man and have used sewing machines all my life, as my mother was a seamstress . She gave me my first sewing machine in a cabinet when I was 16 years old, an Adler machine. The cord shorted out a few years ago, and I haven't bothered to replace it yet, so I got this machine. I was surprised that this sewing machine barely weighs a 5-pound sack of potatoes. I really like all the features of this machine, Bobbin Winder, a light over the needle, the sleeve channel at the front of the machine, back stitch button, and foot Pedal. Relatively easy to thread the machine, but I needed a needle threader to get the thread through the eye of the needle, which was included in the accessories. Right after I got It I was able to HEM three pairs of slacks, and the stitching came out nice. I wish it accommodated larger spools of thread, but I may be able to figure something out in that regard. I look forward to using it on more projects.

Lovely starter sewing machine for someone who just getting into sewing. Not at all difficult to get it setup for a first timer. I used it to add a trim to my curtains, not bad at all.

I’m really impressed with this sewing machine. It’s easy to use and handles basic sewing tasks perfectly. Also has multiple stitch designs to choose. It runs smoothly on thick fabric. The stitch quality is excellent. It’s great for home use, small projects. I highly recommend it for beginners as well as casual sewers.

Instructions were very easy to understand follow and value add.. definitely a perfect choice for families with small kids for small stitches and adjustments.. it is light weight and portable and design looks good. overall a comfortable choice

I have been wanting a sewing machine for sometime more for nostalgia as I would always see my mom sewing dresses for us and for our dolls and had put it in my wishlist. Once I got a notification for price drop I knew had to buy it and what a purchase. It’s sleek , it effective it lightweight. It comes with everything one would need to start sewing even a test cloth. I know sewing so I could start right away but for newbies there is an instruction manual with pictures. It comes with so many cool addons and is so much easier than the bulky machine my mom use to operate. I wish she was around she would be so happy…

I have never used a sewing machine before and this was pretty simple to learn. Has instructions, but I also watched a video on how to use it. Also has a pack of accessories that seem to be pretty much everything you need to make clothing repairs.
