This is easy to use and comes with very detailed instructions. I live in an apartment, so I definitely appreciate the compact size. It is good for craft projects and "regular" sewing such as hemming. It is very fairly priced and is good for someone who is new to using a sewing machine. It's super lightweight....not even a pound. I highly recommend it.

Decided to surprise my 9 year old daughter with this as she has been exploring small patches and wanting a sewing machine. This is a fun color, good price and seems to be pretty sturdy. Shipping took a bit longer than I expected but the box was well packed and upon use has been exactly what she needed. Something for a younger child that wants to do the basics.
