I have been on the lookout for a replacement for my first generation Ninja Coffee Bar when I saw the SEVEN & ME espresso maker. I was trying to find a way to try making espresso at home without buying a big, expensive & complicated machine & that's when I learned about moka pots. But everything I read talked about the learning curve and the experimentation until you get everything right. I also didn't want to deal with trying to cook this on our stove top, and I would still need but a milk frother, etc. When I found the SEVEN & ME, I immediately loved the size and look of it, and it checked EVERY box on my list! But the price really scared me off--I mean a lot! That coupled with enough negative reviews lead me to keeping it in my cart as a "buy later" item for like, 4 to 7 months and every so often I'd look into it, research it online, watch videos, etc., but that price still kept scarring me away. One morning I'd had enough of fighting with my Ninja and said, "the heck with it" and bought my very own SEVEN & ME espresso maker & milk frother! Yay me!! I couldn't wait to get it and to have really good espresso & espresso drinks at home. Once it arrived I was firstly so impressed with the quality look and feel of the unit and parts. The base unit was surprisingly small, sleek and has a gorgeous modern look. The moka pot and milk frother both have a heavy, quality feel and beautiful finishes. While doing all of my online research, I found the mistakes the negative reviewers were making that caused them to have problems they mentioned. Each negative review was due to a user error, which was clearly explained, and SEVEN & ME gives you customer service contact information and they encourage you to contact them!! Since that day, I haven't had any problems with my espresso maker & have easily been able to make consistently great-tasting espresso and espresso based drinks every single day. I think my only complaint, and this is me nit-picking, is that I wish they provided the basic recipes for the macchiato, cappuccino, mocha, latte and Cubano in the user manual. It would be great if they also had some of the recipes for variations on those basics on their website, maybe. I can say that I am extremely happy with my purchase and that I feel the price isn't high given the quality of the product, ease of use and the consistently great espresso the unit makes. I also bought several different brands and roasts of moka pot compatible coffees to try out. So far the Illy coffee is the best in my opinion and I've had zero problems mentioned in the other reviews.

I was in love with this coffee machine and the quality of the cup of coffee it produced. It looks so elegant and takes so little space in the counter , which was a plus for me. But, after spending $160 and only using it during the weekends for around 1.5 years -due to elaborated process for just making a single cup of coffee and not having much time during the week - it suddenly stopped working. The machine started brewing less than 1 oz. I did all the troubleshooting recommended in the manufacturer’s site with no luck. After 3 communications with them , and just wasting my time redoing the troubleshooting, they just told me the machine had a one (1) year guarantee… so, don’t waste your money with this , unless you are ok spending all that money for this poor service. Not worth it! Very disappointed!

I'm still on the fence on the Seven and Me Expresso Coffee Machine with electric moka pot and milk frother. What I do like is the design -it's simplistic, compact and doesn't take up a alot of kitchen counter space. I purchased this for my husband who is hard to buy for because he always says he doesn't need anything. While visiting Miami in early 2021, we tried our first cup of cuban coffee during a walking food tour and absolutely loved it. We seen stopped for nightly cup of cuban coffee after dinner when on vacations. I read reviews of electric and stove top and knew that for my husband he'd prefer electric, as well as easy use and clean. I looked at the expresso machines that cost $500.00 and up and what I didn't like was the size and the amount of learning experience needed. I saw this one and decided to gamble on it because of the size and features. I've listed the pro's and con's below. Pro's: 1. Electric 2. Simplistic design that takes up little kitchen space 3. Easy to follow instructions 4. Easy to use 5. Easy to clean 6. Makes a good cup of expresso 7. Sharp looking Moka Pot and Milk Frother Cup 8. Great for beginners. Con's: 1. Only makes 1 cup of expresso at a time, which I knew and was okay with but it is something to take into consider during purchase. 2. Need to run some test cycles first for both Moka Pot and Milk Frother but from reviews I read for other machines seems to be common. 3. It's an expensive machine that doesn't have a well functional milk frother. 4. Followed instructions exactly as written and it doesn't froth milk like I'd like and it wasn't on warm side. 5. Need to clean shortly after use (like after cut of expresso is done) but since it's our first expresso mahcine not sure if this common for all expresso machines. 6. Overall - given price would expect the Milk Frother to be of better quality.
