Works well and now is field-tested and approved! While one of the screws that holds the wheel assembly got stripped as I installed it, the other ones hold it nicely, so I didn't bother to ask for a replacement. It was probably me who stripped it anyway.

Ok i have had this fridge for 2 hours and love it already. Have had colemen electric coolers and even a different brand dual zone compressor fridge and this beats them all. Well made, was at 37 degrees in 30 min from ambient 70. Very much like the removable bullhead. The thing senses when its installed and allows for dual zone temp adjustment. Only 3 cons: NO LOCK OUT on controls. What you giys dont have kids???. Wheel mounting bolts are way too small diameter. Will sheer at somepoint. And finally no app control. I gave this feature up when looking through hundres of friges for the wheels. I has 5 features i needed and it was like pick any 4. This one had the most.     • Exceeded My Hopes and Expectations
After extensive research into portable 12vdc compressor fridge-freezers this one seemed to be the best of the lot, so I ordered it. Now after using it, first as a test using the in-home 110vac power adapter, and nothing other than a temperature sensor in it, then twice on day trips where I filled it with frozen food items and kept them in the portable freezer for over seven hours until I got back home and could transfer the items to my home freezer. It worked great using the car 12vdc receptacle while driving and also even more hours using a 250wh portable power station when my car was parked and not operating. Temperature control is not precise, but with the remote temperature system I bought with the freezer it was easy to know how to adjust the temperature setting to get the results I wanted. In warmer weather the 250wh power station will not be sufficient for long hours of use so I got a 580wh power station to deal with that. Instead of using a regular cooler, I've decided to buy a fridge for my camping. This fridge can set two separate zones and the top lid opening direction can be turned around for your convinience. It can hold a galon of milk and happy about inside space for a full week camping for two. There are a few things I noticed after months of usage. 1. It's heavy for me. Once I put it in my rear seat of pick up truck, it stays there during trip. But lifting up/down is a quite work before/after trip. I wish it could be little lighter. The handle and wheel makes a quite easier to move around on ground, but I could have purchased one size smaller maybe for lifting up sake... 2. The wheel/handle attachment extend it's size. There are handles to lift up but I attached suitcase like extended handle and wheel. The wheel frame is a solid metal. Obviously it leads heavy and bulky frame. I was thinking just take out a wheel rod when I don't use the wheels, but entire wheel system is an attachment with screw. You need to lift up or put is upside down to remove the frame, if you don't use the wheel. So this semi-permanent wheel adds up in term of size. It lifts up this fridge at 2.5" higher, add 6" Depth (3" each side). The handle adds approx. 1" for the width. I wish the wheel frame can be easily taken out so this can sits nicely in my rear seat. This is negative because how I use this fridge. If it is permanent setting without wheel/handle or you are very strong, this is not your concern. 2. Temperature setting. I am sure other reviewer mentioned similar thing. I had to set the freezer section to -10C (14F) to harden ice cream. So the temp. setting you need to adjust while using it. I give 5 starts for fridge itself but minus one star for designing of wheel and handle. ... show more

I have been using this unit in my van for the past year and it is awesome. Keeps everything cold and frozen while using very little power. The lid flips so I can open it both ways as I decide where it’s final placement will be in the build.

I bought this to use in a small trailer camper. This review is based on only one weekend of use but I'm pleased with how well it works so far. About my biggest "complaint" would be that the temperatures don't seem to be entirely accurate but it does a great job of keeping your food at the right temp. Well built.
