These lamps are gorgeous. The rattan finish is nice and tight around the stem and not itchy to the touch. The lamps are a medium size. Each one holds a nice glow to the room and it's big enough for any size room and small enough for a dorm room. I love being able to charge my phone without having to get up from the couch. These 2 Bohemian Rattan Woven Table Lamps in beige and cream colors seem to emit a soothing, flowing light from a rotary switch, which has a calming effect for both small and large rooms. I enjoy this soft light, which feels tranquil. I ordered this for I was needing lamp/s with USB port/s for dark rooms. However, I was disappointed in the USB ports, which seemed to charge my iPhone very, very slowly. I am not sure why that is. I tried charging a different gadget, and it appeared to charge a bit more quickly. The unboxing and assembly for these lamps were not as peaceful. The instructions were a bit challenging to follow with some confusing sections. I received no LED bulbs, but my written instructions state they are included and to install them. Online directions state otherwise. The narrow black lamp holder (right below the rotary switch) arrives disconnected from the lamp body (rattan area). I ended up struggling to pull the lamp cord slack down out the bottom to allow ample space to screw on the lamp holder to the lamp body. While doing this, there was an unsettling feeling of snowflakes from the 2 mm scraps of disintegrating styrofoam flying around and clinging to everything possible, shade, clothing, rug, black resin base, etc. I usually have little problems with assembly, but this lamp cord issue extended the assembly time unexpectedly. If the cord had been designed to go straight through to the bottom in a vertical line, it would have been easier to eliminate the extra slack. Yet, the cord is threaded through at a right angle, traveling both vertically and horizontally through the lamp. It turns out the shade itself was easier to install on the rings, however I only saw 2 helpful strips of Velcro at the vertical ends of the shade. Otherwise, the shade has built in little clips that easily snap onto the white metal rings. Given that the Bohemian Lamps are now fully assembled, I can enjoy their quiet beauty, illumination, and earth tones. ... show more
