I bought this futon for the weird and crazy room we have in the extra bedroom so I had somewhere to sleep when I was on night shift and the family is doing their chaotic stuff during the daytime. Whew. Well anyway, it’s ALRIGHT to sleep on from to time. I’m about 69 inches tall and pretty much fit on here if I lay my head near the end. There are basically two sides, the “seat” cushion and the “back” cushion. There’s a bit of frame in the middle that doesn’t have all that much cushion. But pick a “side” and it’s decently comfortable. Look, I don’t think ANY futon is ever going to really compare to a bed. You’re in the market for a futon because you need a compromise of some sort, right? At this price point, I’m really happy with it. Ordered for a dorm room. Didn’t need anything super expensive and this looked like it would work perfect under a loft bed. Reviews were very positive, so figured we try it. Main considerations were affordability and size. We didn’t open the box until we were at the dorm. Super easily assembly (just attach the legs) and boom done. Comfort? For the time we were there, it was comfortable. Firm enough. We did not lay it flat (so can’t comment on that). But it was easy to lay flat from a seated position. Plenty long enough - definitely could fit 2 adults. Sits somewhat close to the floor but high enough so you don’t feel like you are sitting on the floor. It looks great. Hopefully will last the year and my assumption is - for a piece of furniture that won’t be used for hours every day - this is going to be perfect. Just try it. Bought this for my guestroom for my sister who is about 5’3” and her feet kind of hanging over the edge of it and found it to be not that great for sleeping on (too firm for her) I like firm!

I got this couch for $200, it sometimes gets marked up to $300 on Amazon. Like others said it’s not the sturdiest but it does have a solid wood frame. If assembled correctly it can hold a large amount of weight (me and others laying on it 500+ pounds). That being said kids cannot jump on this, you shouldn’t sit down with excessive force, and you probably wouldn’t want to do anything more than hugging a significant other on this as a bed. It is low to the ground but you can buy furniture risers for around $20 and they will be plenty to fix the short couch leg issue. A few notes on risers I currently use 3 inch ones and I’m 6 feet tall, the 3inch is acceptable but my legs are slightly elevated above the couch. Make sure if you get risers that you get risers enclosed with a border (something that prevents the couch legs from sliding off the riser) I got a set that accommodates any leg size because 2 edges had no border but the couch would fall off of them so get a border and you’ll be golden. To summarize this couch may be worth it if spending under $300, you get risers, and use reasonable judgement to not jump or sit to forcefully on it. Now a note to more well off individuals, if you’re looking for a rarely used office couch this is the one. If you’re looking for a primary living room couch don’t waste the $300 get something 600+ you deserve a sturdy couch and have the means to acquire one save up a couple extra hundreds and get one that will last. This couch will be fine for periodic use and for people that are stretched thin financially it’s a great choice and can be repaired if needed. Really what I’m trying to say is if circumstances restrict choice this is fine, if circumstances allow keep looking. ... show more

We are having houseguests for a bit and needed some supplemental seating as well as a place for some kids to sleep. Gotta say I am ** IMPRESSED** with this fine piece. Paid $120, Amazon delivered it in 3 days, they carried it inside my house and placed it in my living room. Took literally five minutes to unbox, attach the legs and that is it, unbelievably easy to assemble. Looks very stylish, nice quality, firm cushions too. Folds down super easy for the kids at nighttime. Honestly unless it arrived damaged I do not see how anyone could give this less that five stars, the price is great, it was delivered to my living room and was a snap to assemble. If you need a small loveseat/couch I’d recommend this as it has the added feature of folding flat for sleeping purposes, We are truly amazed with the quality for the price. ... show more

I was very excited when it was delivered and out the box. All I have to do, is attached the the legs and I'm good, I can relax on my new Futon couch. I was unable to get all 4 legs on because, "Observe photo". The insert in the hole is square, the screws are round that secures all of the legs to the couch.
