As others mentioned it’s not a thick blanket even though it’s fluffy but it heats up quick and the highest level are VERY warm so we only need level 2 or 3. Living in Massachusetts the winters are brutally cold so it’s nice to have a warm blanket on her bed at night to keep her cozy. Ok, so I’ve had mine since 2022. It still works very well, gets hot enough by 3 that I don’t need levels 4&5, and has survived the dog frequently lying on it while chewing her bones. ( And yes I discourage that for safety reasons but she’s small and sneaky - and smart enough to know that the blanket is often warmer than the rest of the bed.). I’ve only had to wash it a few times, but I followed the instructions exactly and it came through like new. It is clearly listed as a throw, so if you want a longer blanket this isn’t that. But if you want a very soft, easy to wash, durable heated throw, this one is still going strong here at the end of 2025. I’m probably going to get at least one more to stash away as a backup, I like it that much. It’s been a great value and a quality purchase for sure. ... show more

Bought this as a gift for my 85 year old father. He loves it. He said it is perfect for watching TV. Heats up super fast. He uses the low setting as he feels it is plenty warm on low. He likes the timer feature because he doesn't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. He said it's super soft. Oh my goodness, this is the softest throw! It feels like a little baby bunny. Yes, it’s light as previous reviewers have stated, but it doesn’t need to be heavy to be warm. I haven’t had it any warmer than the level 3, and it’s plenty warm enough for me. It’s been really cold here in Florida, and I’m always cold anyways, so this is perfection. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy one. I wasn’t sure about the shaggy part, I was afraid it would shed all over the place, but it doesn’t. I purchased the blush color, and it’s the perfect shade of pink. I love this, I read a lot of reviews on all heated blankets and throws, and this one seemed to be one of the best. My son loves this blanket but over time the coils started to pull out. Now 40% of the coils are now on the outside of the blanket and are too difficult to feed back in. I tried to reach out to the company with no success so for safety reasons I'll be throwing it away. It's a pretty expensive blanket so I was hoping for a little more support from the company. This blanket isn’t extremely thick but it is incredibly soft and silky, definitely surpassing my expectations. If someone is searching for something very thick, this isn’t it but I haven't seen many electric blankets that are. This feels high-quality, plush, and has a good amount of filling with a nice density to the fibers.
