This is a quality piece of furniture. I am so impressed. It did take two of us to install the arms, and pay attention to the instructions/ guide on the arm ls telling you which side is which. It took 5 minutes (or less) to assemble, it’s really that easy. It is a very firm couch and bed so it will need a mattress topper but I planned on that anyway. And frankly it will soften over time so I’d rather it start out firm. It folds out into a bed seamlessly and easy. The back is a little tricky and I have only found it to go upright or flat, no in between like some…but I will experiment more. The measurements are spot on although you lose a little in the pull out section re the width. My 6 foot husband’s feet were off the end but this is for the guest room/office so we are not concerned about that (shorter guests, LOL). We purchased the navy color and it is gorgeous. I will say that if you have pets, it will show everything so you’ll need to cover it like I plan on doing in the seat portion or just run a tape roller over it, it catches everything easily. I liked the navy b/c over time the cream and beige may show signs of age quicker and I didn’t want to worry about my guests (or more likely myself) spilling food/coffee and staining it. And the navy is unique- very glad I went with it. I had purchased two less expensive sofa sleepers before buying this and took them back immediately. They were very poor quality- and highly rated btw. I pour through ratings before I purchase items, especially anything expensive. I am very pleased with this couch. It came and the delivery guy was helpful getting the frame down in my room. It comes with a frame that is not that heavy or bulky on its own, so it was a breeze to navigate it around corners and through a hallway to get it in place. The cushions and arms are easy to attach with one person. Once the frame was in place, I was able to put it together myself easily with the help of a 4" sturdy block to prop up each side of the frame while I was tightening the arms on with the bolts. When open it's a full queen-sized bed that's firm but very comfortable for sitting or sleeping. It doesn't sag after time to become hard. It's even possible to have one side open at a time. It can be opened and closed without the frame needing to move at all so it can be right up against the wall the whole time and I don't have to break a sweat or risk damaging my wall to change configurations. ... show more

Bought the Ainsley in July, the cushions go on the arms so the seat is uncomfortably deep. Bought the Galway as cushions are on the back..and found that makes the seat too short, you're kinda perched on the edge. Both these loveseats are wonderful sleepers, so easy pull out and convert, very comfortable and sturdy. But wish the seat depth was more consistent and of a normal size. I bought pillows for the back of the Ainsley which helped but there isn't much I can do w the Galway as it needs something on the back, just not as thick. And needs som pillows on the arms to. But these are both well made and primarily for sleeping so... ... show more

I bought the ivory color. Its really pretty. The boucle is not smooth or soft, its knobbly, but it is still comfortable to the touch. Both seating and sleeping, the loveseat and the bed are both on the firm side, but again, still very comfortable. The loveseat can be made into a full size bed, so two normal sized people could sleep on it. As a full size, keep in mind that supports the same height as a regular twin. It is not as long as a queen or king, so might not be adequate for a taller person. It was delivered a little early and it was easily assembled. It converts from sofa to bed by pulling a strap to pull out, and then lowering the back by lifting then lowering, really a nice clicking mechanism that creates 3 levels: flat, slanted, and vertical, and as a bed there is no bar across your back, it feels like a regular, firm mattress. Very nice and I'm very pleased with this purchase. I slept on it several nights and visiting family members have also slept on it and it is comfortably supportive and firm. If you prefer a softer feel for sleeping, that would be easily remedied by getting a soft full size topper. ... show more

Assembly was tough for one person but would be easy with two people. It's a bit firm in the beginning but still very comfortable and as all furniture will probably become softer with use. The color is beautiful, the fabric feels quality, it easily glides into a chaise or bed. Highly recommend

This is perfect for the space I have. It was nice that it came in pieces as it was easy to get in the room. It comes in 1 big box which is quite heavy. If you have a couple of strong people you can put it together easily. It was worth it to me to pay for delivery and assembly as they put it where I wanted it and took the giant box and packaging with them.
