    • A Sufficient Rollaway Bed
Just received this bed and test drove it last night and it seems to be sufficient for temporary guests. There was no assembly, simply wheel it out of the box and take the plastic off the mattress and you're good to go. The mattress is very lightweight and springy and folding it back up isn't that difficult even though you do have to give it a good squeeze to get it to latch. I weigh roughly 200 lbs and both the mattress and spring go down significantly like a trampoline when I sit on it, but it's not so springy when my weight is more distributed as I lay on top of it. I suggest purchasing some elastic sheet grippers if you want a sheet to stay on the mattress as it does bend and flex during use. I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 stars simply because there are more robust rollaway beds available but this one is still pretty decent for the price. ... show more

I received my rollaway bed today. Earlier than usual as the UPS driver needed space in his truck. The box is bulky as expected. The bed came fully assembled. No instructions were included. As a frequent traveler, rollaway beds have been uncomfortable, so I've paid the extra bucks to ensure airbed like feel. For extra comfort, I purchased a mattress topper and the comfort has been achieved. The bed cannot be folded up with the mattress topper or with bedding as securing it requires reasonable strength to latch in the slide loop. Overall it was a good investment. Airbeds are great, but spring leaks when you don't want them to and no one sleeps comfortably on floors. This will last longer for grandkid's sleepovers. ... show more

We bought this to use as a guest bed and it works just fine for this purpose. It is comfortable enough for someone to use for a couple of nights and then folds up and stores away nicely. The construction of the bed frame provides a solid foundation and it appears to be well made. As a bed it is a bit springy and soft for my own personal taste, but it is not uncomfortable. It is not designed as a full time daily use bed so don't buy it for that purpose. Was hoping the Serta name would provide better support. OK for kids less than 100 lbs and shorter than 4’ tall. Adults? Not so much.

I bought this as an extra bed when my 6 year old grandson visits. It's a regular twin sized bed and works great for what I need it for. I open it next to my bed and fold it back up when not in use. It is a little springy and holds my weight well enough when I lay on it. It was quite difficult for me to to get upstairs to my bedroom so I won't be moving it between floors that often. Nice guest bed. I actually bought it to keep at my daughter for when I go there to recover after knee surgery. The grands love when I sleep over. The only complaint is you can feel a few of the springs so it gets alittle uncomfortable sometimes. For the price it serves the purpose

    • It's not a sleep numbers bed, not disappointed.
Not bad for a few nights, I got a gel foam pad for the top and it's perfect now. Been sleeping on it for 2 months now. I'm getting a good nights sleep.

    • I was disappointed in the mattress- the coils can be felt
I was disappointed in the mattress- the coils can be felt. I bought a foam pad to put on top of it. Also the bed is hard to close. But for a roll away bed and the price, it will work for me.
