They say that you get what you pay for. And you do with this. It’s not a bad mattress I’ve had way worse. It’s more firm than expected but it does support you well. It doesn’t transfer energy well which is good cuz it means you won’t bother your spouse as easily. I get up at 4 am for work so that is important. I really don’t know if we are sleeping any better or worse than the 13 year old pillow top spring mattress it replaced. I am fine to sleep on it but even after a few weeks the wife still hasn’t made up her mind if she wants to keep it. It does come with a 100night sleep test. As for the cooling affect I don’t notice. If we have a warmer night I still wake up in sweats and have to remove the blanket to let the fans cool me down. I keep the house between 68-72 year round. Serta is usually a good brand. And for it’s price I believe the mattress is a good deal. But ultimately if we will keep it will be the wife’s decision, she’s more picky than me. ... show more

I had guests coming in for the holidays so last minute, I got a new daybed in my guest bedroom (I’d been dragging my heels setting up my guest bedroom! Oops!) for me to sleep on (so my guests could have my large bed). This arrived about an hour before they did so I opened it around noon and was sleeping on that night. First major win - no smell! I noticed it puffed to about 6” (not 7”) but it was thick enough - in doing my research to find this mattress, I found some complaints on certain mattresses were that you could feel the springs, and this was definitely not the case with this one! The biggesg win: I have a not-so-great back and was very worried - I woke up with NO back pain. I went back to my bed just last night after my guests left and my back hurts this morning. So now I think I need to buy this for my bed! This mattress is awesome. Even though it’s a twin, I will likely sleep on it more often until I get my new mattress because it’s just so good!! Very very very impressed. (I also found Amazon had the lowest price. There were some other retailers carrying this with quick delivery, but they were about 10 to 15% more. Obviously prices change all the time so I recommend searching for the mattress to see who carries it, and where the best price is.) ... show more

I was very disappointed with the fit and finish of this mattress. It was smaller than it should have been for the size and did not have a uniform edge or look remotely as refined as it does in the photos advertised. I had purchased this bed for my daughter and it left gaps around the bed frame due to it being smaller than what it should be, I was afraid of her getting a hand or foot caught between the mattress and frame while sleeping. I never slept in it and only laid in it for about 5 minutes after unpacking it. Again, not impressed at all. I ended up replacing it with a Tuft and Needle brand mattress that was about $100 more and I am much happier with that one. ... show more
