This compact a/c unit provides impressive cooling for a pretty large space. One of the reasons I opted for this unit was that I wanted the wifi control. With this unit, I can adjust temperature remotely and/or schedule cooling to be higher at different times. I will say though, it cools my room off fast when I crank it up to full power so it isn’t necessary to leave on if I’m gone for a long time. The a/c unit has built in capability to adapt and hold a set temperature when it is reached so that it isn’t always running on full cooling. All this is adjustable from the touch panel or the app. Setup was simple to do and I find it runs pretty quiet for how much air it moves. It can be set up in under 10 minutes and has wheels on the bottom for portability if one wants to be able to move it around. The unit itself is lightweight and easy enough for me to carry when needed. This a/c unit was a good choice for my needs and the performance, especially at this price can’t be beat.

I must say that this is a great portable A. C. and was a lifesaver these past few weeks where it's been sooooo hot! I live in AZ so it's already hot here but its been waaay hotter last month. The dehumidifier,as well as the fan work really well also. Its really nice to have the wheels on the bottom, because I do like to take it in different rooms since I don't always hang out in one room. It's nice to be able to move it so easily and without help. Just FYI for the fan mode and the dehumidifier you don't need to have it connected to the window. So so it's nice to be able to have different settings all in one. And I can also vouch that It is very energy efficient. I have not seen an increase in my electricity bill which is huge for me because in the past Ive gotten these things and it really blows my electricity up. Awesome purchase and well worth every penny. It's a really good deal too, compared to the others like it on the market. I also love that it's super quiet!

I'm always skeptical about online reviews. Seriously. But this portable AC? Totally earns those high ratings. I gotta say, setup was a breeze, and it's super easy to use. The app works like a charm. It cools down our stuffy (almost stifling) hallway and upstairs bedroom quickly and easily. As for noise? Honestly not bad at all. It's definitely quieter than your average box fan. On low, it's maybe a tad quieter than my white noise machine, but I usually crank it up to full speed anyway. (Low speed is quieter, obviously). I also keep an eye on our daily electricity use. We're smack in the middle of a brutal heat wave, so this unit's running a lot. I gotta tell you, I was surprised – it barely made a dent in our bill! Bottom line: If you're on the fence about getting a portable AC, this one is worth every penny. I'm thrilled with it and highly recommend it! Just pull the trigger already!

Already using a smaller BUP version from this brand so knew it would be good quality. Currently using in our living room to help provide air conditioning and am impressed how well it cools and circulates the air around an open space (approx 430sqft). Is quite quiet when it runs so doesn’t create any distracting background noise and unit is so easy to operate and run - what’s best is that it comes with a remote control so I don’t even need to adjust directly on the unit.

Having an old farmhouse built in 1922 means retrofit HVAC. The two upstairs bedrooms have vents installed in the ceiling, but airflow is very limited and my monthly electric bill would cost a fortune to adequately cool the rooms with the central air. Last year I broke down and invested in a portable AC unit for the bedroom being used. This year I decided to get a second unit because the second bedroom has become my home office. Though not the same brand, I found this SereneLife 8000 BTU unit and ordered. The unit is more compact than my last one. At only 2/3 the capacity, I was a bit nervous that it wouldn’t be strong enough for my office that is close to the 350 sq ft size. With a few 80+ degree days already since setting up, pleased to say the unit is working nicely. I definitely appreciate the Wi-Fi control feature, which allows me to get the room cooling down while getting other morning chores done before heading up to work. The one drawback, I am not able to direct the cool air toward the center of the room; the cool air vent points straight up. Because of the needed window venting for the hot air, I have to keep the unit right by the one window wall. No super hot Midwest summer days yet to truly test for cooling, but pleased so far.

After my 2nd Midea AC quit working in under a year I decided to find something else. This unit is smaller and lighter than my previous units and puts out more cold than I ever had. Been running nonstop up until this last week in my camper and it cools both the living room and the kitchen to a comfortable level. I am pleased with the unit for the price.

I can't recommend this portable air conditioner enough. Our bedroom gets hotter than the rest of the house because the sun beats on that side of the house all day and we have struggled in the past with air conditioners that would cool our room down without constantly running. This little portable air conditioner had done just that. It's able to keep and maintain the temperature we set while still turning off and on and being able to have breaks from the constant running which is what we need with the cost of electricity these days. We have tried so many major big brands and on a whim decided to try this one even though I've never even heard of the brand and we couldn't be happier.
