The air conditioner arrived in perfect condition, except for the parts to connect it to the window. We’re missing. Amazon cannot assist with missing parts and when you call the company they won’t assist you with missing parts either. So rather than Amazon and the company helping the customer, they’re only solution is to return the product. This doesn’t give me good faith on their warranty policy if they can’t even send you parts that didn’t come in the box. ... show more

This is great for cooling relatively small spaces. It has been ideal in my mom's external garage. It's a bit larger and taller than an average garage, but this did a fine job fmkeepinf the heat down in the summer. Its primarily used as a workshop so really needed something. This unit is a bit louder than. Expected. Iys not an issue for me being in a workshop, but I could see it being an annoyance if it were in my bedroom or livingroom. For the cost, I thi k id expect it to be a bit more robust and silent. Would recommend looking into some better options, but this will get the job done. ... show more

Very similar to a GE air conditioner I already had. My favorite thing about these types of air conditioners is that they can be moved pretty easily. These aren't huge thousands of dollars air units. These are made to use in smaller places like bedrooms or offices. They work great to cool off specific rooms. Not loud at all. I couldn't sleep without it anymore. Also really love the dehumidifier feature as I live in the southern US where we have swampy humidity a big portion of the year. Easy to install. Great quality. ... show more

Been using this in my office andnI love it. It is noisy, but thats just how it goes. Setup was pretty straight forward though screwing the plastic bits onto the hose was a little annoying. I do really like the wing nut and screw mechanism over the little plastic inserts for holding up the sliding window insert though. Haven't seen that before and feels so much better than the ones that have the little holes on the side to stick the plastic bit into. Goes down to 61 for the lowest temp and has three fan speeds. Can also dehumidifier, run as just a fan, or cool. It shows the room temp on the front, but when on cool, it shows the temp you set it to. Honestly wish the front screen would just show room temp at all times and the top screen showed the set temp. Minor nit pick. I like that the fan cover can go up and down and be set to one place as well, though feeling the air output, not sure that it does much unless its at one extreme or the other. All the air just feels like it goes straight up regardless where the guard is. Overall its a super well made and well running AC unit. Very happy with it and keeps my office with multiple computers comfortable. ... show more

    • Great unit that delivers nice, cold air on demand

Our upstairs area can get kind of hot during the middle of summer. Because we live in Colorado, we don't have the largest HVACs, and sometimes it's nice to be able to have something to supplement them with some extra power. We've used these units before, and have had a lot of luck with them. This one definitely works as expected. Standing about ~30 inches tall and constructed from high-impact polystyrene (read: "it's durable and can stand up to a Great Dane running into it...). In my 400+-square-foot upstairs living area, it drops the temperature significantly within 20 minutes, delivering nice, cool, even airflow without any bad cold spots. There are three modes on it, those being AC, dehumidifier, and fan. These are all adjustable via the included remote or the 24-hour timer, making it easy to dial in whatever you think you'd like to use. While I don't have much need to use the dehumidifier, I tested it out and found the self-evaporative system does a decent job with moisture. Your mileage may vary if you live in a more humid climate though. The overall 'user experience' is pretty solid. Rolling castor wheels make relocation easy. They even function nicely on carpet. I added a strip of foam around the window kit to give it a tighter seal, and it’s held steady ever since. The unit runs at roughly 55–56 dB on max...which means you'll definitely notice it if you have it in a space where you're watching TV or talking to people. It's not terrible, but that's to be expected from units like this. Noise aside, the unit feels solid. All in all, it’s a thoughtfully designed, efficient cooling solution that handles itself relatively quietly and reliably. I'd recommend it. ... show more
