This 8000 btu air conditioner is an ideal size for use in a modestly sized room like an office. It is a lot more compact and quiet compared to running a larger unit. It runs quiet and keeps my office super cool. It has adjustable temperature to turn on and off as needed to hold a certain room temperature. I have this in my home office and bought it in gray since it blends in better with my other office furniture. I think it’s nice that air conditioners have more color options these days. The portable style is super easy to install and I’m more comfortable using them on a second floor room since I don’t have to worry about making sure it is secure in a window. There is an expandable insert that goes in my window, that connects via a hose to the air conditioner. The installation kit will work for almost any window. It’s a great little unit.

This was a life-saver for the heatwave this past Summer after our old window unit broke. Kept my bedroom nice and cool through outdoor temps over 90 degrees. Setup was fast and easy, less than 30 minutes. Noise level was about what you would expect from an AC, not exactly quiet, but not overwhelmingly loud.

Actually does well in a large area that I'm using it in But a smaller room like a bedroom it would be even better. The color is subtle and it fits nicely.It's not too big.It's definitely not noisy. I'm very Pleased with this order. As with all these portable air conditionings today, Unfortunately , I think all of them skimp on the quality of the material for the venting hoses other than that , it would be a five star. Overall very happy I made this purchase.

AMAZING! This unit gets my room so nice and cold super easy to install noise level is minimal easy to clean and even when the tank fills up with water it is easy to empty by just putting a towel underneath and leaning it over. I have zero complaints. I have had no leakage or any problems with the power. It is a great value for your money. Not to mention my German Shepherd loves sitting in front of it to cool off.

My worst mistake was buying before going out of town for an emergency , when I ordered I got it late, didn’t get a chance to test it.. when I came back I installed it and it’s been two days and it doesn’t cool, it only blows air but it doesn’t cool the room.. and it’s very noisy.. I have a smaller one in another room that I bought in Home Depot and it cools down the room in a matter of minutes.. I trusted the good reviews they have, and got stuck with a trash ac unit.. I can’t return it because return window is now close.. over $300 going to the trash..

The window fitting that came with my unit was bent in the box. I tried contacting the company, but I never heard back from them about getting a replacement part. The unit works, and my room is cooler, but it would be nice to have a window piece that fits a bit more snuggly in the window.
