After getting taken to the cleaners by another local A/C company I finally gave in and decided to try one of these. I can't believe how good this is. My power bill is half what it used to be. You can't hear it run and it cools so effortlessly. We had to struggle to cool the house before pulling the thermostat down to 74 and my power bills were thru the roof. Now the temp on the unit says 81 and the whole house is truly cool and comfortable. Don't ask me to explain, I don't understand it either. This is an awesome product. The customer service is fantastic. I have used the mini split now all summer and it kept my apartment very comfortable. I believe it will do so this winter as well. Easy to use.

The unit worked great for 24 hours then it started making a high pitch noise. Followed instructions and cut the unit off for ten minutes then back on. Didn't help. Currently waiting on professional installer to come back. Update. I had the installer come out and he corrected the problem. The unit works very well now. I upgraded my rating to 4 starts. It would be five but under the warranty, I have to pay the HVAC person and Senville pays for parts needed only. ... show more

Definitely wouldn’t suggest buying this. I bought one for the high elevation that I live in and I’m constantly using electric heaters and woodstoves to help heat the house. It constantly goes into a defrost mode. Regardless of what I try to do I suggest contacting a local HVAC contractor and getting one thats specific for your area. purchase the unit that was for my elevation, and it still does not work. ... show more

After doing research for which split system I wanted to use I went with Senville. This dual zone unit helps add supplemental heat to two extensions on my house that get cold during the winter. I’m a refrigeration mechanic so I installed it myself. Installation was very straight forward. It’s been in for 3 weeks so far and has worked great. If there are any issues I will update my review. My only minor issue is that you can’t calibrate the room thermometer. With the air handler on the wall it reads warmer than the room is at ground level. To compensate I just raise the thermostat a little. All in all it’s been great. ... show more
