After doing research for which split system I wanted to use I went with Senville. This dual zone unit helps add supplemental heat to two extensions on my house that get cold during the winter. I’m a refrigeration mechanic so I installed it myself. Installation was very straight forward. It’s been in for 3 weeks so far and has worked great. If there are any issues I will update my review. My only minor issue is that you can’t calibrate the room thermometer. With the air handler on the wall it reads warmer than the room is at ground level. The unit worked great for 24 hours then it started making a high pitch noise. Followed instructions and cut the unit off for ten minutes then back on. Didn't help. Currently waiting on professional installer to come back. Update. I had the installer come out and he corrected the problem. The unit works very well now. I upgraded my rating to 4 starts. It would be five but under the warranty, I have to pay the HVAC person and Senville pays for parts needed only. ... show more

After getting taken to the cleaners by another local A/C company I finally gave in and decided to try one of these. I can't believe how good this is. My power bill is half what it used to be. You can't hear it run and it cools so effortlessly. We had to struggle to cool the house before pulling the thermostat down to 74 and my power bills were thru the roof. Now the temp on the unit says 81 and the whole house is truly cool and comfortable. Don't ask me to explain, I don't understand it either. Product is great, we have 3 of these units in our home and garage. Had a small problem with one of the indoor splits. The digital readout was not working and the remote would not control the unit. I am changing my rating from a five star to a one star. We initially had an issue with defective parts and the company was quick to send replacements. They worked for about three months and then the entire unit died. I've owned this system for about three years and I've had it evaluated by several HVAC professionals and they've all told me I wasted my money and it would be cheaper to replace it than fix it. Of the three years I've owned the unit it worked for a total of about three months and has been nothing but an eyesore since. When the unit initially died I reached out to customer service but received no response. After months of reaching out with zero response I basically gave up. No money to fix it or replace it I'm still living in a house with no heating or cooling because I was sold a defective unit. As a side note, I had to have the unit installed twice. The first guy couldn't figure it out because it was unnecessarily complicated and basically said good luck so I found someone else who had experience with these and installed it correctly but said it would most likely not last a year because the units are bad. He was definitely correct. Thousands of dollars down the drain. Lesson learned. Buy at your own risk. ... show more

Installed this mini split today. Very easy to do with the right tools. It’s not extremely warm out today but this thing is great so far. Tested the cool function and the heat function. Love it. The shipping was very fast and had great service from fedex truck delivery. Called and talked to a tech, didn’t get his name, and he was awesome and answered a few question I had.
