This unit is extremely Energy efficient and also quiet. I was able to install it in just a few hours and it is awesome. I have tested both heat and cold as well as automatic and it is super easy to operate. You will need a vacuum pump and guages to complete the install. The pictures should show the temperature on cooling which is great. The average power usage is less than 600w , as a complete off grid home that was very important.

Senville AURA Series Mini Split Air SENA/24HF 24000btu. the contractor installed this in around 6 hours as he replaced an existing mini split. hole through the wall and power were existing. he sealed the line set with some goop. cleaned the lines out with nitrogen while pressure checking for leaks. vacuumed the line set and evap checking again for leaks. 30 minutes pater he opened the valves at the condenser, ran the system on high for 30 minutes while checking for leaks via sniffer too thing. he did not have to add refrigerant. the unit cooled down the room quickly. faster than the original unit did when it was new! the ambient was 96 degrees and the evap was discharging 32 degree air. So this is day 2, we shall see if its performance holds up. we have another 24000btu Air-Con in another large room which was installed in 2019 and it works fantastic. the Senville seems to move more air when set to turbo compared to the Air-Con however both are great units. the big difference is the efficiency rating of this new Senville versus the Air-Con. 21 SEER2 versus said 18 SEER albeit the actual of the Air-Con is roughly 13 SEER. By the end of this month we will decide whether to purchase another Senville or another brand for our garage, Will update if any changes but loved this unit big yesterday. today will be about 9 degrees hotter :)

I've been using a shop electric heater during the winter and window units during the summer. Got tired of dealing with both so bought the 24,000 BTU Senville AURA. My first choice was a DAIKAN (based on warranty) but it was not available so purchased the Senville (my second choice). I am easily able to cool my 1000 sq ft hunting cabin with no problem. It went from 84 degrees F to 68 degrees F in about 2 hours. Simply amazing. I love the fact it can be controlled by Alexa. I have Starlink internet at the property which is 1.5 hours away. I can turn on the AC or Heat with my phone before I leave and have a nice cool/warm cabin when I arrive. My only issue is that i ordered a lineset that was 2 feet too short. I ended up having to buy a 50ft lineset to complete the job. Was being cheap I guess and figured I could make the 25ft lineset work by locating the air handler and compressor in the "perfect" spot. Oh well, still did the whole job for $2100 when the local AC guys are getting $7000 to install one of these. Took about 1 day to install between me and brother in law.

Recently installed and we really like it! At our last house we installed a Daikin, but we like this much better. It cools the house quickly, and heats up quickly too. The remote is very user friendly (much better than our previous one), the smart connection/ app is great too. I'm not a big fan of using "smart" appliances, but being able to control this when we are away from home. We chose this particular one because we live where it gets really cold (-30F isn't abnormal). Haven't been able to test that out yet, but I have no concern about it working great during the winter. One thing to note that was told to me by the HVAC guy who connected the lines: the coolant that is used in this is very hard to get. This only poses an issue if there was a leak, which hopefully there wouldn't be on a new mini split. The coolant is going to become the new standard from what he told me, so the current back order shouldn't be an issue forever.

Having now had this unit for 5 months, I am going to share a couple thoughts. (24k btu model) This unit was a replacement for an old whole-home A/C unit that quit working years ago, and would have cost $$$$ to fix... We have a 100+ year old smaller 2-story farmhouse, and with the cost of propane heat, I wanted to be able to supplement with something electric and very efficient. Enter the mini-split. This was my first time installing a split-system unit, so while I didn't find it difficult, it was somewhat new. Hardest part was making the hole in the wall for the hoses to run outside... You will want a strong friend to help with the installation of both units, as they are reasonably heavy and bulky. I reused the power feed from the old A/C, with a new disconnect switch, and the cement chunk the old one was on too. A dab of Nylog on the pipes, and yes, I did use a torque wrench on the nuts, and we were ready to evac the system. I already had a vacuum pump from working on auto A/C systems, so just needed the adaptor and the right gauge set. system vac-ed down and held great, released the freon and everything worked great! This little unit kept our whole house nice and cool during the warmer weather, and has been doing very well now in the cooler weather too! Keeps our house nice and toasty down to at least 30 f outside, we will see how it does below that soon... Only complaint is the built in thermostat seems to "float" a bit more than expected, but simply turning the remote to "follow me" mode (using the temp sensor in the remote rather than the one in the head unit) makes it work quite nicely. Highly recommended for the DIY-er with some prior A/C experience, and if you don't mind not having the warranty... Will keep a pretty large space nice and cool, and drastically cut your gas bill when it's not bitterly cold outside. Would definitely buy again!

Very easy to install if you know what you are doing. Mini split units are easy to do. This unit draws between 3 and 4 amps per leg full blast under heavy load. 240 single phase. For the love of God please stop putting nm cable in conduit as I have seen in multiple split installs, it is against code. Use THWN or THHN that can be used in wet locations. Make sure you have a nice concentric flare tool, and a vacuum for the line set. This is very well made, super quiet and super efficient. Can't say enough good about this unit. For the btu output it has I can't believe how little power this heat pump uses. This i great for bumper days with hydronic heat and a combi boiler. It can help on risky short cycle days. And the air conditioner works like a charm. Make sure and maintain it well keeping the outside unit clean as well as the inside. Both should be cleaned at least yearly. It is huge on your wall so be prepared for that. Don't skimp on your install quality and make sure you properly run the condensate drain. It is a nice looking unit, but please start making them black. 🙂 Thanks Sennville for a great split unit at a great price. I plan to install more of these in the future.

I put this unit in the garage when i converted it to my man cave. Temperature control and settings easy to use. I have had it a full year and it is quite when running . I bought it on sale so the value was awesome and had it professionally installed. I have a 450 sq ft room and it heats or cools as it should. The room is always comfortable.
