The unit itself is great and easy to install. It arrived with all the hardware needed - which I appreciate. I deducted a star cause the metal vent on the back of my unit arrived with some damage which cut up my hands and wrist while I was installing it :( The box it was shipped in didn’t have any significant damage, so I suspect this may have happened before it was packaged. With that being said, I’ve had no issues with it. The controls are straightforward and I like the convenience of the remote. It cooled down my room (about 200 sq ft) in less than an hour during an unexpected Texas heatwave. I’ve had several different window units and the noise level for this unit is decent. Most of the time I can tune it out. I have my unit set to the energy saver mode, so I do hear it switch on and off throughout the day.
