    • Instructions not clear, customer service not available
Overall it looks solid and well designed. It is once you get into the details that it becomes difficult. 1. Removal of the keypad -- the whole keypad housing can't be turned counter-clockwise as the instruction suggests. Only the outer ring that "hangs" over the keys. 2. Opening with a key - no problem 3. Once you open the safe, the key hanger plate that is attached to the inner side of the door and covers the battery compartment couldn't easily slide up. It took an effort to slide it up and remove it to insert batteries. 4. The battery compartment does not hold the batteries in place. The spring electrodes are weak and don't hold batteries in place -- batteries slide out. Had to put a strip of bubble wrap between the battery compartment and the cover to keep batteries in place. It took some effort to install the cover plate back in its place. 5. Once batteries are held in place, all works as advertised. 5. Overall crudely finished, but I hope it will serve the purpose.     • Digital pad is not working any more!!
The electronic key pad does not work properly after 5 times of using the safe. It is is a waste of money.

At 80 yrs old this is my first safe and my wife & I love it, Get help to move it, it is very heavy, Big and very roomy inside, way more then I expected, I got a fireproof big envelop to put inside for money and important papers, Buy it---you will love it also! George

Great safe. The only problem I have with it so far is trying to keep the Batteries in if you shut it with any Force. Good thing that has a key ;-)
