I bought this for my son who happens to be on the autism spectrum. He has a lot of sensory issues and we have had a lot of success with compression wear. This seemed like a good idea and I am so glad that we tried it. It has been such a comfort to him. He goes to sleep quickly and stays asleep longer. The fabric itself is soft and breathable in addition to being super stretchy. I'm also impressed with the price. Usually these types of support products for people with autism are ridiculously overpriced. Sometimes I feel like people try to exploit the fact that autism parents would do almost anything to help our kids and pay any price for it. My son LOVES this item. Wish we'd tried it years ago. He says it's the best way to sleep ever. He tosses and turns a lot in his sleep so he ends up waking up without any covers on and cold. His bed normally has to be completely remade each day. He says this is roomy enough to still move around, but a comforting feeling like he's being hugged all night long. The item is working great for us, however... we've never tried this type of compression sheet before. The end is open, and it's a bit shorter than we'd wish. He's 6 feet tall so we ended up still using a top sheet over it (in addition to blanket over it) and tucking it deep under the mattress that way his feet don't freeze at night. Also it was a very snug fit to squeeze onto his SMALL 5" thick Ikea mattress. I can't imagine putting it onto a regular or deep mattress. It fits well for us, with the exception of wishing it were longer. He can't really having it up to his shoulders unless it only goes to his calves. This is great for push and pull on proprioceptors of joints, great topic to research if you have a kid with sensory processing or ASD. Highly recommend. He crawls under it, can stand, plays his tablet under it. It’s breathable and better than having a blanket on his face. It dosent cover the whole bed but that's not a bad thing as it's supposed to not cover it all up, I have sensory issues and this sheet meets my sensory needs it's soft, stretchy, and compresses me just the right amount,also keeps me to sleep longer. We read reviews before ordering about how it would fit a toddler bed, but sadly it doesn’t. It’s a bit to big to even make it snug him in tightly. It’s made for more of a twin size bed not a toddler bed.

Great for sensory kids. I put a twin fitted sheet underneath, then this around the whole mattress. He climbs in through the bottom and snuggles up inside it with his head poking out. So comforting and calming for him.
