  • Great for Calls, Bad for Music | Worth every penny.
I LOVE my DW Pro 2. I was so close to getting a jabra or plantronics but decided to wait for black friday, which was when the price of the DW PRO 2 dropped signfantly and I don't regret a spending a single dollar on it. I use this with AVAYA Softphone (One-X Communicator) and haven't had any trouble. Call quality is phenomenal, completely crystal clear voices and no backround noise. Still haven't figured out what all the little switches inside the base station do, as the instructions only tell you how to pair. So far no luck figuring out how to use the headset to answer/hang up calls but I don't think that feature is included anyway, However, it absolutely sucks for music or sound playback. Do not buy this set thinking you can toggle between calls and music, it sounds like someone piped music through a crunchy MIDI filter on a toy speaker (yep that bad), so I dont understand how its being advertised as a music capable headset also. It does what its supposed to do for phone calls, which is why I bought it, can't say a bad thing about it. Comfort is so good that I forget its there for my 8 hour days. I don't have that "Crushed Hair" pain or earaches. The earphones are smaller than I expected but they fit perfectly and softly press against my ear so noise isnt an issue. I would recommend this for sure. Thank you! ... show more

  • Bang for buck, meh.
Great range, great features. I did not like the mute button. It's a little side toggle thing and a hard switch would be better. The audio quality sounds like they used speakers from the dollar store. I did not feel it was worth the price.

  • Find something newer -regrets for buying this
Here's the cons: 1) This thing is OLD. 2) This thing is really expensive compared to newer headsets out there (even their own pro 2 is hundreds cheaper). 3) The microphone picks up EVERYTHING going on in the background. Don't believe the description that pretends this has high-tech ambient noise cancellation blah blah. It doesn't. People on your calls will hear a pin drip on your side. That's really the deal breaker for me. I'm so disappointed I spent so much money on this and it was obvious after a week it was never going to work for my job. 4) It has a giant docking station that must remain plugged into the wall and your laptop or the headset doesn't work. So guess what, you just made your laptop not mobile at all. Pros: 1)It's comfortable 2)it's lightweight ... show more

  • Using with SfB/Lync
Products does not maintain a consistent connection with Skype for Business, dropping sporadically.

  • When I ask a friend how does it sound they say sounds great or normal
I am a telemarketer business to business. I am on the phone over 6 hours a day. I adore this headset. When I ask a friend how does it sound they say sounds great or normal ... in other words no one can tell I am on a headset. The quality is clear. The mute is super easy to use and the volume controls are a simple push forward or push backwards to change what you only hear. Your client hears the same volume and the folks at headsets.com will help you set it up and adjust all the settings including volume. I bought my last headest, a Plantronics dual ear from Headsets.com in 2016 and it still was going but I decided to get a new one. I use this one with the "cube" which looks pretty cool and I also bought a blue tooth to use with my cell phone. The really cool thing is that the cellphone charger will charge both. And the charger is super sweet a USB connector on one end and the charger on the other a magnet ensures the connection is made. I modified my DW Pro 2 with jumbo Plantronics ear coverings as I was used to them. I also bought 10 for back up. I found the leatherette covers that come with it a bit too noisy and uncomfortable. The Plantronics is the far right one with the little flower cut outs in the center. The folks at Headsets.com are top knotch. Service does not get any better than what they consistently provide no matter who you talk to. I came back after being satisfied for 9 years and will only shop with them. I don't even call anyone else - why would I? ... show more

  • BEHIND THE EAR HEARING AIDS, WITH THESE VERY SMALL HEADPHONE CUPS...
INQUIRY TO MANUFACTURER ADVANCE OF PURCHASE, TO FIND OUT IF THE HEADPHONES WERE LARGE ENOUGH TO FULLY ENCOMPASS BEHIND THE EAR HEARING AIDS, WAS NOT ANSWERED. FOUND SIZE OF HEADPHONES TO BE VERY SMALL. HOWEVER---> IF THEY ARE POSITIONED CORRECTLY WHILE WEARING BEHIND THE EAR HEARING AIDS, THEY WORK WELL. • Good headset, but overpriced.
This was a decent headset, but it's overpriced. Music on all these headsets (unless you get a music headset) is terrible. I was hoping being Sennheiser (an audio company) this one might be different. So I wasn't surprised, just hoped for something a little better. It's nice that if you're using this with a computer the base both charges and connects USB powered (no need for a wall-wart) but the base is so big it's not portable. In my opinion there's just equally good headsets out there from other major brands for $100+ less--you just need an extra outlet to charge. ... show more

  • Not cheap, but well worth the investment!
Does exactly what I expected. It's not a cheap headset by any definition, but if you live on the phone and GoToMeeting like I do it's money well spent. Simple to setup and works great. Took me a couple reads of the manual to understand that the blue link-light is that the headset is active, not that it's paired. Seems to always be paired. I kept trying to "pair" is and was confused. Once I stopped being an idiot and thought about it it was perfect. Buy it today! And delivery from Headsets.com was spot on, and who can complain about tootsie rolls! (Buy one, you'll understand) ... show more
