The quality is excellent. The balances are perfect. They are truly beautiful to behold. But the best part is that these suckers are SHARP. So many folks are complaining that the “Damascus” pattern is laser-etched. So what? It looks wonderful. I wanted stainless knives that were thin, tough, beautiful to look at and sharp enough to split a hair. And that’s exactly what I got. Careful with these! If you’re not used to truly sharp knives, take care. They’ll get ya!

I got this during Prime days for a great price, so was worth rolling the dice as I didn’t have any goof knives. This set is unbelievably great. Surgically sharp, beautiful construction, it is worth every penny of the current price!

So, for the money, these knives appear to be a great value. They feel solid without being overwhelmingly heavy. You really must be careful in handling them, as they are EXTREMELY sharp! UPDATE: I previously mentioned in an earlier certain of this review that I contacted customer support to clarify something. I mistook this set for the Tsunami collection they also make. As for their quality control, their packaging is quite lively. However, one of the knives came out of the box with some sort of rubbery substance that wouldn't easily come out. I almost cut myself trying to remove it under the hot water stream in the kitchen sink! Again, great value for the money!

These knives arrived packaged very well, the case is nice for long term storage. They are definitely NOT 'Ruthlessly sharp' but as sharp as any other kitchen knife i have ever purchased off the shelf anywhere else. They are however extremely well made and feel great in the hand, they cut very well and with care will last a lifetime! I am very satisfied with them and will dispose of all my very old non brand kitchen knives, and have these as my only set, it is all you will ever need!

Apologies for my phone reflecting in the photos of the blade. Very aesthetically pleasing set. BF loved them as a gift for his bday. However, one of the blades was scratched up and the other is either nicked or has some kind of glue stuck to it. I'm returning and re-ordering bc he loved them so much but have not yet used.
