I love these knives. They are beautiful to look at and feel good in your hand. I do wish they had come a little sharper, but I just sharpened them myself. The quality of the is excellent. They have some real weight to them.

The picture shows black blades with beautiful Damascus lines in the blades They came as shiny metal and very faint lines in it. Doesn’t look as pictured Buyers beware

    • Great for the price
These knives arrived packaged very well, the case is nice for long term storage. They are definitely NOT 'Ruthlessly sharp' but as sharp as any other kitchen knife i have ever purchased off the shelf anywhere else. They are however extremely well made and feel great in the hand, they cut very well and with care will last a lifetime! I am very satisfied with them and will dispose of all my very old non brand kitchen knives, and have these as my only set, it is all you will ever need! ... show more

    • Rust spots and overall polish quality
The knives are sharp and cut well. They look nice. The finishing on the blade isn’t clear on the entire blade. Some haze and sanding marks close to some edges of the blade. The biggest problem however are the rust spots already appearing on the blades. That’s only after a month of use.
