This saw has been a remarkable buy. It had the lowest price of all other comparable electric chain saws I’ve found. The performance has been well above my expectations. Cut through a 12” tree very easy. Very little assembly instruction but wasn’t hard to figure out.

My first ever electric chainsaw was a Harbor Freight 16” which isn’t bad, but it always tripped my house breaker…Then bought a Wen brand and it was much better for me until I eventually burned it up, I cut down a few large trees with it pushing it far beyond its limits cutting them up. Paid for itself 6x over. So ordered this Sennix with a longer 18” bar, happy with it and it’s identical to the Wen but has a chain brake when trigger switch is released. Great saw and an 18” bar at that, I recommend it, keep the chain sharp and oiled, that’s the key to it working well. ... show more

Works well and has enough power to cut my Ficuss tree trunk down. Chain dulled too quickly so I bought an Oregon chain that is holding up much better so far. Not as powerful as my gas saw but is much more convient and quieter. It's for medium jobs and does very well. I would like to see a tooless chain adjuster like is on the 12 amp and 15 amp version. With this and my 6" battery chainsaw I can get a lot of trimming done much faster. ... show more

So far I’ve used it to chop up a huge tree that came down in the backyard. The boys and I were cutting the move and logs all afternoon.. I did have to keep tightening the chain. still so much less work than a gas saw. Also way more convenient and less vibration with much less noise. It’s a no-brainer if you have a plug around. I sharpened it at lunch a ran it nonstop for few more hours.. It got a little warm cutting stump that was too big for the blade. I let it cool down while and have a drink; took it back to work..
