It’s lighter and way quieter than gas. I have a small lawn so it’s perfect but that thing charges in maybe an hour or less. So if you have a bigger lawn but need breaks it’s perfect.     • Very Pleased With MY New Cordless Mower

I really do like this lawnmover. It is so nice not having to readjust an electrical cord over my shoulder. I am very pleased with this mover, and would recommend it to anyone else to try. However, I do have 2 minor issues. The booklet is good: however, it was hard for me to follow how to put on the handles. It helped that the lower handles were on so I could see the order to fhe nuts, screws. The orange handle is secure: but, one sees the inside of the orange handle, not the outside. This does not bother me as the handle is secure and works just fine. The second thing I noticed is that when I go down a slight hill, the front wheels of the mover seem to stay slightly off the ground - once again, this was not a problem as it did cover the ground I wanted and cut what I wanted it to cut. I would rate this a 4.5 out of a 5 for these reasons. I assume the battery life is good - I followed all instructions with the battery, but have only used it once. This battery was sufficient for my small backyard, and should be able to give me more cuts from the same battery power. At first, I thought my mover would not start: once I took out the battery and made sure it was connected to the mover correctly, it started easily, and quietly so I almost did not know it had started. ... show more

    • Great battery mower for small yards

The Senix LPPX5-M is lightweight 17" cordless mower that is perfect for small lawns. The strength of the 58 volt battery allowed me to cut 2 inches off my lawn for a period of 30 - 45 minutes before recharging the battery. It is extremely lightweight and easy to maneuver. The manufacturer's customer service is truly impressive! I accidentally left the battery in the mower after mowing. The battery was at 50% charge when I put the mower away for two weeks. When I tryied to use the mower after 3 weeks it would not start. It turned out the battery slowly drained to a very low voltage. I tried charging the battery with the included charger but it would not charge due to the battery being completely discharged. My bad, the mower instructions had specifically stated not to leave the battery in the unit after use. I messaged Senix and told them of my issue and they immediately sent me a new battery which I received within 1 week. Their customer service could not have been better and I would not hesitate to buy other products from them in the future. I would like to note that the housing is plastic so lawns containing hard debris such as rocks and branches may damage it. I am very happy with my first year of ownership of this mower!     • Great mower with a few things that need improvement

Fourth month of owning this. Battery has started disengaging from plug on mower with virtually every push. I don't get 5 ft. What a waste of money. Waited a month to review this mower to see if it developed any issues. First the good: Very quiet Cuts well Has flat sides that allow you to cut within an inch of walls, flower beds, etc. Light-weight Easy to maneuver Charges fairly quickly (about 2 hrs) The needs improvement: Battery seems to last go dead noticeably faster with each use. Mower is being used for trim work to reach spots riding mower cannot and has to be recharged now to finish trim mowing around a 3 BR ranch house. Wish this had option to use with cord instead of with battery only. Would seem manufacturer could sell an adapter that fits into battery compartment as an add-on. Next mower I buy will have this feature. Battery has to be pushed into mower very hard to engage mechanism that locks in place. Almost sent this mower back as defective before first use because I could not get it to start because battery was not fully locked in. There is a faint click followed by a loud 'click' when it is in. Neighbor has to help me put in battery to get it to work (bad shoulder). Blade stops cutting about five inches from front of mower. Redesigning this so it cuts nearly flush like the sides would be a huge improvement. As is, expect to string trim (weed-eat) any space only accessible by pushing mower into wall. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Simply put: I bought the Senix 15” electric mower because I read so many positive reviews and thought it looked cool. It was a great price, too. I was and still am amazed at how well this performs…it’s got a powerful motor, easy to assemble & use. The handles on this are longer than my previous electric mower, making it a better choice for taller people 6’1”+. I forget it’s an electric mower it feels just as powerful. The only issue I had was the top handle on catcher bag comes off from time to time if it’s not inserted correctly, but I may ask them about fixing this. Overall, this is a great mower worth trying. And I never leave reviews - but after all my research I think this is one of the best. And with $50 coupon they offer, it’s a great price. Highly recommend, ... show more
