The Good - 1. The wheel adjustment is wonderful. Easily accessed while mowing to change height with one simple adjustment. 2. Easy to change from side discharge to mulching or bagging. The block in the discharge chute is a nice feature. 3. Blue color is pretty. The Bad 1. Hard to start. Takes at least 3 pulls. I've tried various pushes on the primer button but is never a one pull start. 2. Drive control bar difficult to operate. Requires an extended reach to activate the drive leaving only one hand control when it engages. Every time you want to make a turn, you have to release the control bar completely and then do the one handed extended reach again. The is somewhat a safety concern as you better be ready when it takes off. 3. The variable speed control requires one hand on the control bar and one hand on the bars when a slower speed is desired. 4. Way to slow! Even after adjusting the turnbuckle to the maximum, the self propelled action is very very slow. I'm a 71 year old man and my slow pace is faster than the drive on the mower. While we have 5 acres and use an assortment of mowers, I like to use a push mower for the yard and along the driveways and walks for the cleaner look. I've had a TroyBilt for the last 10 years and while is still use it, I wanted another mower to leave at the front of the property to keep from pushing it back and forth. I bought the Senix mainly because of the single point height adjustment that I use a lot. The description also indicated easy starting. While $450 is not a bad price to pay, it's a lot when you rely on Social Security. I regret not getting another TroyBilt or one of the other brands and dealing with the multi-point wheel adjustment. If any of the issues I listed are important to you, my advise is to stay away from Senix. I hate this mower and will likely have to take a hit and buy another mower.

Easy to assemble and runs well

Runs great & starts on 2 or 3rd pull. The reason I put 3 stars is because the self propelled bar is way too far to grab. It makes it very difficult to use. It almost seems like it backwards with the starter bar on top & the self propelled bar on the bottom. I bought the 2 different size wheels to make it easier to push but now realize the self propelled only moves the back wheels & not the front wheels so its not as easy to push forward.

Received with parts made incorrectly. The hole on the arm where the knob connects the handle to the arm was drilled at an angle and can't be tightened and forces the handle to bend higher on the right side than the left side. Called Senix and their customer service aren't reliable.

Maybe because I'm older, the pace of the self propel is too fast and then I'm trying toslow it and that raises the front wheels and you get an uneven cut. I hate it

I’ve seen on Amazon where other individuals had commented on the speed being to fast. With that being said you need to make an adjustment to slow it down and put the speed in the description section. I have seen in description where a range was given from adjustable speed of 1.3 to 3 miles per hour. Yours runs at four(?) way to fast with no way to slow it down. If the description had said 4 miles per hour I never would have bought it. I “assumed “ the speed would be the same as my old one two(?) miles per hour.There’s no way I could have known from the description how fast it goes. The information isn’t shown. The product and the description both need extensive rewrites.
