This thing is amazing. I got the 20”. It was easy to put together (once I found the company’s website because my couldn’t see the little print on the instructions), and it cut my super thick, super tall grass like a hot knife through butter. The initial start up did take quite a few pulls, but after that, it started on the first or second pull every time. It’s easy to push and I didn’t have to go over spots multiple times to get the grass cut. I defiantly recommend this mower for anyone looking for an affordable one. I even appreciate the initial oil being included. The only thing I had to add was gas. It doesn’t hurt that everyone tells me how pretty it is.

This is by far the MANLIEST thing I own. I normally use HART battery operated lawn equipment, but Walmart doesn’t carry that anymore. I also work a lot so my grass gets overgrown and electric lawnmowers. Just don’t have the power to cut it in a decent amount of time. It’ll cut it but you gotta go over it a few times or go really really slow and back-and-forth and it just just takes way too long and the mower does bog down. With this SENIX 22 inch 201 cc rare wheel self-propelled lawnmower overgrown grass has no chance. My heart is 20 inches. I didn’t think 2 inches was going to make that big of a difference but just looking at the lawnmower side-by-side is incredibly different. This thing also bags side, discharges, and mulches. It starts first pull every time no problem and you don’t even have to pull that string hard at all. The first time I started mine I was holding my phone for a YouTube video and started at one-handed. That’s right out the box fresh oil, fresh gas there’s no choke it just starts up first time every time. I’m also a bit shallow when it comes to the looks of things so I like things that look nice and the colors on this lawnmower look awesome. It’s very similar to the cavalry blue on a Toyota Tacoma. It comes fully assembled out of the box. All you do is unfold the handle add oil and gas in you’re ready to go. I could sit here and make this review five minutes of reading time long but I won’t bore you with that I have no idea how you would give this a bad review unless you’re giving shipping issues the bad review which I always found hilarious on Amazon. I got mine at the end of summer. I paid around $579 for it can’t wait to see what these things are going for next spring. I’ve never paid more than $250 for a lawnmower in my life and I regret that decision. Someone should’ve told me like I’m telling you get this lawnmower. You will not regret it.

The only good things I can say about this mower is that it comes almost completely assembled with the motor oil included. And it’s a pretty blue. Other than that it’s a piece of junk. I had difficulty starting mine right off the bat. It took multiple pulls on the power chord which required a lot of strength because the chord seemed to keep getting stuck. Every time I had to stop the mower then start it again I went through the same misery…15-20 pulls before it would start. In addition, I set the cutting height to my customary next-to -the-lowest setting and it immediately began to vacuum up the soil on my lawn and blow it out the side discharge with alarming velocity. I’m talking about huge clouds of soil that blew out and covered everything in the vicinity—including me. My lawn was not dry either—it had rained the day before. I NEVER had a lawn mower do that before. It almost seems like the engine has too much power for what it’s made to do. I managed to get my back yard and side yard mowed but then while I was mowing my front yard, I began to hear what sounded like something made of metal knocking around inside the mower. The next thing I knew I heard a loud “Pop!”, The mower shut off and I’ve been unable to start it since. I think it’s dead. I’m so bitter and angry about this because it’s too late to send it back and I still have more payments I have to make on it.

Amazing value for the dollar. I bought one three years ago and it served me well( To be honest, I never did any maintenance to it). I would still have it except I tried to cut a hidden 2 x 4 concrete block hidden in deep weeds. The motor came to a sudden stop. To its credit, it restarted but it vibrated horribly, and blowing oil out of the oil fill hole. Totally my fault for trying to cut concrete stake. Operator Error. Bought another SENIX and it’s just as great as my first. Put it together, added the oil and gas…Three pumps to prime it and cranked right up. Since I removed the concrete I don’t expect I’ll have to buy another:) Thanks SENIX!

honestly honestly this mower is a beast! I do this professionally and i like the performance of this mower. the drive system does take a little getting use to and could pull a little stronger but I like it. don't expect it to pull you around it's to assist though it's not very hard to push until you have a full bag and yes this thing packs that bag full of grass and doesn't bog a bit. I think it semi mulches at the same time, cuts thick grass like soft butter nice n smooth!

I probably should give this mower 5 stars, but I can’t. There are some very wonderful things that I have to say about this mower, but I have two issues to complain about. One issue is important. The other is probably nitpicking on my account. First of all, I noticed that the reviews of all SENIX models are lumped into the same review thread on Amazon. From the reviews that I have read, each model is obviously very different. I bought the 22-inch cut, 201cc model. Let me start with the good stuff. This mower kicks butt! It has lots of power! My lawn was overgrown before my mower arrived (12 inches thick in some spots) and this mower cut through my lawn like butter. It started on the first pull - and it was an effortless pull (once again, like butter). The bagger receptacle is the perfect size and shape to fit the opening in a recycling bag, so dumping is a breeze. Because my lawn was so thick, had to stop the mower many times to empty the bag, but it always started back up effortlessly on the first pull (and this was in 92-degree weather). So, yeah, it is a great mower, but here are my gripes. The height adjustments for the cut are WAY TOO LOW! I mowed my lawn the first time on the tallest cut setting and it still cut it so short that it looked like I was mowing a golf course fairway. I dropped it one setting (of the possible 6 settings) and it looked like I was mowing a putting green. The lower four settings must be for roto tilling your lawn. I am afraid to test them. I do not want to tear up my lawn. Here’s my other complaint. This is the nitpicking thingy. SENIX went to the trouble of coming up with a really cool undercarriage wash with a quick-connect garden hose nozzle that rests on top of the cutting housing to make washing the blade and housing super simple. Here’s the annoying part- they didn’t include the other half of the connection, and the male nozzle on the mower is smaller than a standard 3/4” hose female connector. I wasted a lot of time and $ finding a connection that actually fit this thing, when SENIX could have spent 99 cents at production level and thrown in the hose adapter for this $500.00 mower! …see, I told you it was nitpicking, but for pete’s sake, SENIX, you come up with a great idea, but you just can’t “stick the dismount.” Once again, the mower itself is powerful and easy to start. I would recommend this 201cc model for anyone that always likes to give their lawn a crew cut, but you will not be able to cut it any taller than that. I usually like my lawn to have a little taller cut.

Product came in great quality. Have mowed twice now our large back and front yard and just now filling it up again. Able to maneuver well as well with great cutting. All passes are cut equally performing well. Starts up with 1-2 pulls. The adjustability is somewhat hard as you have to unbolt the wheels to move up and down which would be my only complaint.

Couldn't be used out of the box even if I had gas and oil ready because I had to do some repairs on it to straighten a couple of bent parts. The height adjustment lever for the rear tires is twisted and removing the tire and the screws for that lever is aggravating because of the tight spot between the wheel and its housing. I actually had to use a plastic weld to remove a part of the plastic housing so that I could remove the bolt and nut. The screw at the base of the handle is also bent. All these could have probably been prevented with some cushion which the box had very little of. Once I got those bent part fixed, starting the engine was a breeze. It was a real quick start. It's also not meant for unleveled ground like if you just moved into a new construction house with a month old sod. I find that half of the time, it's just working like a push mower. The self-propelled part is just not there.
