Works as expected you cant record videos to phone unless you already have sd card in camera I'm using samsung evo 128g micro sd so it can support larger cards than it says videos and sound quality is good and the apps all seem to work fine definitely a great purchase install was also easy has more pieces for install than you could possibly need ... show more

    • Its not water proof, shorts out and fails after first time in the rain
As said in the description, I was on a motorcycle ride and got trapped in the rain. The device had continued to work until I went to turn it off and charge it. When opening the port water started coming out and so I put it in rice for a while to dry out. Long story short it never worked again properly after that. You have to press and hold phone and dial button for it to turn on then tap them before it finishes its chime to keep it on. I can no longer use it because holding the phone button will cause it to die before it goes into pairing mode. No amount of trouble shooting fixes it. Reset no longer works among other things. Its a cool concept but as soon as it gets wet its over. Seems short sighted for a piece of equipment that goes on a motorcycle helmet. ... show more

The product is overall not worth the price. Sound is not loud when riding unless volume is all the way up and the quality diminishes. Battery life is awful, does not last as long as it is advertised. Uploading the videos to your phone is not smooth and will take forever because the device will keep disconnecting from your from. Camera quality is good. That’s about the only good thing about it. I plan on returning this and getting something that is more worth the cost. ... show more

Audio is poor but understandable when not moving, but really indecipherable at speed or riding. FYI zero owner here so no Loud engine either. Ordered the speaker upgrade to see if sound improves. Really poor business model - just include good speakers up front or provide an exchange discount on buying the upgrade and spending time to do install again should be a nuisance to consider in discount as well. Update - the upgrade speakers are mandatory if you want to decipher anything while riding - just no point to stock speakers - useless. For $300+ unit, it looks to come with speech. $2 RadioShack quality speakers. With upgrade, sound is OK. Nothing like good headphones, but you can at least carry a conversation and understand speach. ... show more
