Very sturdy. These bars can hold the weight of an adult if secured properly. They come with lag screws, but they are only 2 inches long. Use longer screws or even consider through-bolting these if the mounting location permits. Great value for the money, can be used for indoor or outdoor playgrounds. Mounting holes are 15-1/2 inches on center, should work for standard 16-inch on center stud spacing in most cases. Powder coat finish looks good and doesn't scratch too easily. If using outdoors in a location exposed to weather, a couple extra coats or clear spray paint is a good idea to make them last longer without rusting.

Our daughter LOVES climbing things. We don’t have a playground in our yard, so we figured we could get these and install them on one of our very large, sturdy trees. These are perfect. They are hefty, sturdy, and install easily. Definitely a fan of these, and our kiddo agrees!

These handles/bars are solid. With the four points of attachment, they hold a lot of weight and are very sturdy. All the welds are smooth and well done and the powder coating is just enough matte to create a little grip but stay comfortable. I had a couple of screws strip and ended up using a socket wrench instead. Then another couple broke near the head. However, even with only two screws in the bars were so sturdy. When one screw broke, I decided that 3/4 was enough to hold and haven't been proven wrong. The quality control on the screws leaves a little to be desired, but the quality of the bars themselves more than makes up for it. Bringing your own hardware would be a good idea, but even with a few failing, I easily installed the bars with just a few extra screws of my own.
