I received an updated model. I was back and fourth deciding between fireplaces for about a month. I have had this unit for a little over a month now and I am 101% satisfied with my decision to go with this one. This fireplace definitely exceeds my expectations. It was pretty easy to assemble, the instructions were rather clear and it came with all associated pieces and hardware un damaged. It is important to note however, this fireplace will arrive in two separate boxes. One box will be the fireplace mantle and housing and in the other will be the firebox insert. They did arrive together at the same time. **Updated model** It appears when I ordered it in Nov ‘22 (and still, while I’m writing this review) the manufacturers have not updated the product photos. When I received mine and put it together I was pleased to see that they had fixed the awkward cut and spacing of the tile where the two pieces come together. There is still a small gap there but now it is more natural looking and is not noticiable from a few feet’s distance. To be honest.. when I was purchasing this fireplace the awkward gap almost prevented me from making this purchase but I’m glad to see it is fixed! Another point worth noting on the upgraded model is there is no more purple light option for the glowing “rocks”. The new colors are now orange, blue, clear/white. This was, however a disappointment because I do like the purple color. The heat works rather well and is very quiet!! With the heat option on or off is quiet both ways. With the heat off and just the fireplace on it is silent. With the fireplace on with the heat the sound coming from it is quiet. It is probably comparable to a tabletop fan set on the low setting. DO NOT lose your remote! There are NO button controls on the fireplace at all besides a small hidden power button that you’ll probably never use because you power it on and off using the remote. If you lose your remote you’ll either have to order another one from the manufacturers or order a new firebox insert which could be a couple hundred dollars. This fireplace is also offered in a “traditional” fireplace version instead of the gas fireplace aesthetic which is floating around on here somewhere. The logs and coals however did not seem to go with my aesthetics. My apartment is more modern and the faux gas look definitely goes better in my space not to mention the carrera marble is stunning. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Fantastic, gorgeous, electric fireplace. I wanted a realistic, modern, electric fireplace and this is as close as I'm gonna get. The mantle is spectacular with painted solid wood and gorgeous genuine marble herringbone backsplash. The fire itself I believe looks real. The only thing that makes it look off is the lighting of the acrylic rocks. My natural gas outdoor firewall came with glass beads so I felt it would look like this. The purple and blue are really bright and don't look real. The amber (pictured) is as close to real it will get. I wish their was an option to NOT light the crystals but there's not. There's 1 option that cycles through no light, amber, blue and purple. When it's on no light, I think it looks most realistic but unfortunately you can't choose that as permanent. Nevertheless, for the price, this can't be beat as it is quality and is gorgeous and perfectly sized. This also comes in a faux log version so maybe that will be more realistic but I wanted modern to go with my asthetic. I still give this 5 stars as it's better than any other electric place I've seen. I haven't used the heat function yet. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It’s beautiful and we have gotten so many compliments on it. However, after about 1 month of use, the top light that shines down over the flames flickered out. I am not sure how to replace it but possibly will be contacting this seller to see what we can do about it. Other than that…no issues. The assembly was pretty easy and I did it in about 1.5 hours max 2 hours. The colors are vibrant and the heat output is nice. It heats the whole front part of our house and keeps us toasty. I mostly love the looks and the ambiance it brings to our living room. Beautiful product. ... show more

Love this fireplace, looks really sharp and classy. Everyone that has seen it since I brought mine, has really been impressed. So a few things to note: -It REALLY will take about 2 hours to build, and is a bit of a pain to do so. But it’s not super complicated, and the instructions are a good help. -My unit once constructed didn’t line up flush on the left side, with the marble panel. But some caulking can cover this, so not a big deal. -The instructions for using the fireplace and remote are not great. I had to play around with both to understand how all the features such as turning the heat on/off. -As for the heat, it works fine but is not so strong. Overall I felt this Fireplace is a really good value, looks great, and works well. ... show more

LOVE THIS FIREPLACE! it is real wood and marble. im not handy at all, but was able to put it all together myself in one afternoon! it looks fabulous once built! perfect for christmas! worth every penny! haven't fully got the hang of the remote yet, but i need to read the manual still for that part.

We have been wanting a fireplace and we finally decided on this and we have no regrets. It took two people about 1.5 hours to assemble it. We have kids running around and the glass does not get hot so it’s good for little hands. The colors are beautiful and we just love it.
