The Tanaya Faux Fireplace arrived on time and very well packed. My husband was able to assemble it in about an hour. The fireplace is very elegant looking. The molding and added decorative features are very nice. The fire looks realistic and the heat will take the chill out of a room. We are very happy with our purchase. Love it!! This fireplace rocks! It is Beautiful. We received so many compliments. Hubby and I put it together. We followed the instructions. We wanted to get it right so we didn't rush we took our time. It took us a couple hours. You will need a drill.

So we built a heart extension to place this fireplace on, giving it an additional ‘real fireplace feel’. It is a beautiful part of our living room now and the flames look exceptionally real. I love that it works with Alexa. We have not tried the heating yet since it isn’t cold enough but the animals love the beef in front of it anyway. This was the centerpiece of our make over project and it transformed an awkward room into a wonderfully cozy and comfortable space. We did have to make a couple alterations to fit it like this. First we removed the tiny slider feet from the bottom so it would sit flat on the hearth. Next, we drilled a divit in the bottom in the back to feed the cord through and down through the hearth. This allowed the fireplace to sit more flush against the wall. Both were quite easy to do. The hearth i built is 6’x2’x1’. We have received so many compliments. ... show more
