The media could not be loaded. First off - because this was my biggest concern based on other reviews; the color is not snow white, but it is still in the white range. Some reviews say it is yellow and it is definitely not yellow. But what people mean is that it is ivory. I have true white walls and beige blinds. You can see from the photo that the mantel is not as white as my walls, but not far off. Because I have some beiges in my room, the color works fine. It is whiter than the color of primed doors at Lowes (unpainted off-white primer). This was EASY to assemble. It arrives in two large packages. The electric fireplace itself was not hard to carry inside. It is the wood mantel package that is hard to carry because it is long enough to be akward to carry by yourself. I was able to drag it into my front door and then have someone assist me carrying it to the room it goes in (not heavy for two people to carry). There is slight gapping in the panels once assembled. But you don't really see it from the front or even the side. You'd have to be directly on the side of it or behind it to see the gaps. Concern #2 based on other reviews was the pre-drilled holes. Everything lined up great on mine. I just hand-tightened everything first (in each step of assembly) before tightening with the wrench. That way it was easy to slide the pieces slightly if needed. There is an overall power button then a separate power button for the heater and one for the flames. Once you turn on the main power button, the enclosed remote will be useable. You can also control everything from the fireplace itself. It is QUIET with no heat and there is a slight airy sound with the heat on. Just like any average HVAC heat vent sound. There is no "crackling" sound. Some people on here have purchased separate sound machines for this. I'm thinking of just putting a bluetooth speaker on top of my fireplace and using the youtube yule log video for a crackling sound (via the bluetooth speaker) if I really want it. Then I don't need to purchase another device and can control everything from my phone. Overall - great packaging, nothing damaged, took me 1.5 hour to assemble working slow paced, looks great, puts out heat immediately, doesn't clash with super white walls. I'm so happy I finally got this. Really makes the room cozy. Update 1 yr later: I have loved the ambiance this fireplace created all year. I turn it on in the morning when it's still dark out for a cozy soft light. I use it when I'm doing chores like laundry to make the room feel more relaxed and this time of year, festive. It works so great. The heater and fan still work perfectly. The remote battery is still going strong with me having used it almost every day (of course you can replace the battery when needed). Super happy with this purchase every day.

My wife wanted an electric fire place and she found this one. If you are hesitant/skeptical to order one, please don't. This fire place it’s worth it. YES go and get it! This is not only beautiful but it was so easy to put together (my teenage daughter did it all by herself, it took her probably 30 min). The mantle arrived a couple days after the heating unit. The mantle is white and the heater works so nicely. Heats my whole bedroom. The logs and “flames” look a lot better than they do in the pictures. My wife really loves it!

Bought this for my wife not thinking much of it. But I’ll admit this thing is nice and it keeps the house warm downstairs so I don’t have to run the heater which saves on electricity: it looks nice and gets the job done. Easy to assemble and gives the room a nice touch

After checking out reviews I have to admit my expectations were relatively high. It definitely looks as expected, it’s a good size, I like the flame, it looks pretty realistic for the price. My issue comes from the construction. It would have been much easier to build if the screws for mounting the fireplace component had actually been the correct size. They were too short. We also had great difficulty screwing the screws that were long enough that we happened to already have into the surround. It took at least 90 minutes to build with painful untwisting of screws with a pliers included in the timeframe to get it put together.

I am so please and happy with my purchase, the fireplace it looks very pretty, is made of compressed wood, quality looks good, in general looks very nice, however has some minor details such as some small gaps between some of the pieces, that can be easily fixed , color is pure white, is smooth, functions with the flames and heater at the same time or just the flames, no parts were missing, value for the money is good, i only tried the heating element twice and worked perfectly, temperature control is good, and warmed immediately the room, i am not going to use the heater since I live in Florida , i bought separately the fire sound , Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. It does exactly what it said it would. The placement might not be ideal in my pic so will have to move things around. Heater function runs super quiet and puts out a nice flow and warms a middle size room in about 20 min. Flames are impressive as well but on its brightest mode I feel it could be a bit brighter but hey, just turn off more lights in the room. Might want a power drill with a Phillips bit for the 4 screws at the final part of installing the heating unit to save a minute or 2.
