Husband and I scoured through many electric fireplace choices and read and re-read reviews before choosing this one. We are very pleased. It heats very well in our great room. It's quiet, visually relaxing and pretty. The mantle/shelf structure is solid and elegant. Remote is easy to use. Several flame features including just a glowing ember look. Once again definitely felt warmer in our room immediately. It arrives in two boxes. The firebox which wasnt too heavy, then the mantle /shelf in a separated large box. The mantle box is 114 pounds. The assembly was definitely a 2 person job. It took us a little over 2 hours work. All wood pieces and hardware was accounted for and nothing was chipped or damaged . Warning, It looks like a daunting task to assemble the mantle and shelves when you start pulling the pieces out of the box, but it's well laid out in the pamphlet. We put all the numbered pieces in order before starting. We'll pleased with our purchase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. 4 1/2 ⭐️For the price it is perfect! Big size, it is heavy. I didn’t give this a five star since the paint seems to be peeling on the edges and I only have had it for a couple of days. We will see how long the paint will last. Other than that I love it. I wish to know what is recommended for cleaning it to avoid the paint peeling. Put in it together was not bad at all but I see this as a puzzle and don’t mind it. This product looks nice, until the contact paper they use to cover the particle board comes off. We used Command hooks (and yes, we removed them properly) to hang stockings on it and it completely peeled off the finish. Also I moved our garland on top, just moved it, and it scratched off the color. This is seriously the lowest quality furniture I have ever ordered through Amazon. Also the “heater” doesn’t do much except blow slightly warmer than room temperature air. DO NOT buy this item if you plan to do anything other than sit it in a corner with no decorative items and never touch it again. Wish I could give it 0 stars. ... show more
