Despite what some have said its not hard to put together AT ALL except have a short phillips head screwdriver handy. The wood is nice and study and can take a tv with ease... i'm using mine for display purposes for a wall-mounted corner TV. the top folds up to fill in a corner gap or sits down for a flush mount. Remote works great and can adjust flames, logs, temperature and timer. Accent touch lights are a nice touch but I think I will adjust the touchpoint to make it easier to use. ... show more

Product well built with “Real wood and real tile” Instructions were ok. Some of the screw locations were almost impossible for my banana hands. But nonetheless after 3 hours it’s all together and working good. Hopefully it lasts 25+ years😂 Remote is kinda cheesy for $600+ I feel that more could have been assembled inside the box that was delivered making less work for the customer. The furnace box is shipped separately and that was the easiest part. Slide that in thru the back and 2 wooden clamps screw into the back to hold it in. Done. I’m pretty sure the $600 price is to help with the shipping of which I’m sure they took a beating on. ... show more

Easy to put together and looks great. It puts out nice heat and the ambiance is nice. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the Alexa set up. You only get one chance to set it up so if your internet messes up or anything glitches, there's no way to restart the set up which is what happened to me. For whatever reason the set up page froze and then booted me out and it wouldn't let me do it again. So unfortunately my Alexa has no access to turn it on or off but at least there's a remote that comes with it. ... show more

Within the past year the SEI compatability with smart home devices is currently null and void. With responses from the manufacturer saying to seek refunds or discounts on all SEI fireplaces. As long as you don't mind not having that feature then this is a good fireplace keeps the living g room toasty ... show more

Beautiful addition to any room. I wish we had a real fireplace but since we do not, this is the next best thing. I did some research on electric fireplaces and decide to buy this to add some heat to family room but didn’t want to heat the whole house. It takes time to heat the large area but once to does the room stays warm all day. I hardly run my house furnace now. I recommend this if your looking to add a little warmth and charm to a room. ... show more

Thus us the third version of this fireplace one fir me one for my parents and now one for my daughter. I’m quite pleased with these and the seem to just get nicer with each year. Not the easiest to put together but I’m a 50 something woman and put all three together by myself so very do able.
