This fireplace is so beautiful! The instructions were easy to understand, the pieces were well labeled, and it arrived with all pieces in good condition. Once assembled, it looks great and feels like a quality piece of furniture. I was able to assemble it by myself in just a few hours. I really enjoy the various settings for dimming the flames and/or the embers as well as the different glow settings. The thermostat and timer are also nice features.     • SEI fire box unit will fail

2 year owner here. Nice electric fireplace and good size for a more realistic look. I'm more inclined to let you know the fire box will NOT last 5-10 years as suggested. I have done quite a bit of research outside amz on failed units because of my frustration. The firebox failure is a recurring problem for SEI. The unit will begin to overheat a beep. There is no fix. SEI will not help because the failures are happening at around the 2 year mark when units are out of warranty. So you'll have to decide if this is a deal breaker for you. You see in the end it looks pretty good. Most of it was easy to put together, expect when matching it up with the base piece, multiple holes would not match up no matter what. You see in one of my pictures are pieces that should have been used but could not use. Another picture shows the actual fireplace came very bent. I was able to straighten it enough with my foot. Fearing I would break the glass, I stopped. I probably will add some caulk a fee areas eventually… Over all, I love it. I have want it for 3 years. But be prepared for it to not be perfect. ... show more

Love, love! Not too difficult to put together. I’m a female and did by myself. But I’m young, strong and super handy. Had a bit of trouble with the secret cabinet space. Made it work through. The specific model does have options to change the lights. My favorite setting is on blue. I hope this fireplace lasts. It’s currently summertime, so I don’t have much of a review on the heat setting yet, but it does put out good heat from what I can tell. I highly recommend.
