I really like this item, the mission style electric fireplace. it was very easy to assemble by myself, everything fits perfectly, its really attractive, and as advertised. The only small issue i have with it, is that the two-tone tile is not as pronounced as in the photo. my two tones are almost identical. you have to look very hard at it to tell the difference between them. I would say that the lighter stones ended up darker than in the image. I gave it 4 out of 5 because of this. Separate subject: Buyer - Be sure to check the amperage on the outlet you plan to use. Mine is 15 amps. The fireplace draws 16. Until i can get an electrician in to rewire the outlet in my house, I can not use the heating aspect. i can still put the 'flames' on and get the ambiance, but not use the heat. I ran it to see what would happen, and the outlet (plus other outlets in other rooms on the same line) got SUPER hot. NOT safe, don't do it. None of this is the fault of the product - the product is great. Just warning you to check the breaker for the outlet you intend to use. ... show more

This is not only a great fireplace, but a beautiful piece of furniture. The wood is beautiful!!! I was very nervous to purchase something this expensive on line without being able to see it in person. Because of the price and features, we couldn't pass it up. It came in two boxes, and you can see from the photo how well it was packed. I would suggest getting out the manual, and count and organize your parts. That made putting it together a breeze! We had extra screws, etc...which was really nice. My husband assembled it all in about an hour. He said it was really easy. All parts are included, except you will need a Phillip's head screwdriver, and a hammer. That's it! We love the bricks inside of the unit, plus there is a seperate light for that! My only negative would be the embers look pretty fake unless it's a lower light setting. My husband likes it brighter, so it can't be too bad! Everything is on the remote. Heat, without heat, embers, back flame, and lighting. You can also set a timer so it turns itself off. The heater is quite good! Heats the whole room very quickly, if this is an important feature for you. I've seen other fireplaces, and this is my favorite by far!!! ... show more

We bought this for my mother-in-law for Christmas, she lives in California in a small one bedroom senior community. My husband and his brother put it together with ease. The quality of the fireplace is really good. It is really sturdy and not wobbly at all. It looks really good in the small living room that she has and is not to big for the space. She puts her t.v on top and it looks great. The heater works well, although it's not really needed where she lives, she does use it sometimes, but we did try it out and boy does it heat up her small place qiuck it also comes with a remote so that she doesn't have to get up to adjust the flame, or the heat temp (when using). She likes the look of the flames and the adjustability she can do with it. We had it shipped to her place instead of ours to make it easier on the guys. The delivery people put it in her house for her and when the guys got there they did the rest. The box came in perfect condition, no damage, no nothing....which is good cause some items of that size get a little banged up at times. The product itself looks just like the picture, so there were no hidden surprises. The dementions are right, instructions on how to put it together were good. We have thoroughly enjoyed our new electric fireplace. We bought this at the end of November and have enjoyed it throughout the Christmas season until now. It really helped to bring our living room together into a very cozy and enjoyable area. The flames looks authentic with a lot of variation like a real fire (the only thing missing is more color changes). It’s not a corner fireplace, but we decided to put ours in the corner and it works well still. We don’t use the heat much, but when we have it’s worked well. You can feel the heat well close up to the fireplace, but as it stays on for a while the warmth in the room increases (which I was surprised because we have vaulted ceilings). Our extended family members in for the holidays absolutely loved the added ambiance. Our house does not have a fireplace of its own and we’ve always wanted one. To me, this is the next best thing to a real wood burning fireplace and there’s no cleaning ashes, sweeping the chimney, or replacing the wood. We also have an Alexa dot and play crackling fireplace sounds while it’s on, which really makes it enjoyable. Money well spent and we highly recommend this model! ... show more

Got this mid-October, and it's on almost all the time since. It's a great solution to not having a fireplace, which I was unhappy with in our new home. Definitely makes our living room more cozy, especially with Christmas coming up. It can't really warm the whole room up on it's own, but it's totally fine with our heaters going. I imagine it would be able to warm up a smaller room on it's own. I assembled this totally on my own, within a couple hours. I'm pretty much a little old lady. I assembled it propped up, had to use walls to prop it up against at times. I didn't see people saying to lay it down till now. -_- I did sweat a bit, and my arms were very sore the following day (I manually screwed all the screws in, I was scared an electric would crack something), but it worked out fine, and it turned out great. ... show more

I was unsure of this item at 1st when ordering. But after I got it assembled I was very impressed. Very sturdy and heats my living room up quickly. Only thing I can complain about is the remote. It's kinda on the cheap side but gets the job done. 5 stars!
